For me when I had my first baby they give me the bottle to take it home and the next day I needed to drink before I had my appointment like 30 minutes or somewhere. But you can do it Jess we believe in you Jess ❤❤

I had gestational diabetes for both of my pregnancies.young mom here I had my first at 16 and my second at 18.i was pretty chill about it because I already had an idea just because my dad has diabetes as well and it kinda runs in the family.but with me I got induced for both pregnancies because I did have a bit too much sugar intakes for both babies so there bellies were big while being in the womb and they had restrained growth cuz of it.and so they told me there’s a chance for your kid to be obese or also get diabetes even outside of the womb so it is very important to take care of your self but don’t panic you can still eat sweets and all just check your sugar and know when is the right time to eat.and because I would sneak in sweets sometimes after birth for both pregnancies they told me you need watch it because you can still become diabetic.

Fun fact: you could eat only sweets during pregnancy and not get GD or you could eat 0 & get diagnosed. It’s not based of what you eat but how your placenta processes sugar. So don’t feel too bad it’s nothing you’ve done to cause or prevent it!

I feel like it’s more of you eat to much salty foods bc for my pregnancy I would eat so much sweets that I thought for sure I had it also since my mom had it during her pregnancy but I didn’t hopefully everything comes out good for you every pregnancy is different best wishes
