Growing up, we camped many, many weekends in the rain! I think that’s were I found my love of reading because there wasn’t anything else to do! I still find hearing rain on a roof so comforting. Your children are so lovely. Each with their own unique personalities. Phoebe dancing was precious. I would never have felt like I could act like that in my family. But seeing you two encouraging her and enjoying her dancing made my heart happy. Who knew that I could find such healing from an abusive childhood through watching KZbin! Seeing a family that loves and respects each other is truly beautiful. Thank you

Oh gosh that rain was torrential. Well done for managing a weekend away in the motorhome in such weather. Ohhhh Phoebe's dance. I have 17 grandchildren (15 in one family) and I love all of them and can’t imagine not having any one of them. But I can understand the comments I heard Sue’s Mom say that it’s very expensive for grandparents also. No one ever talks about how these very large families affect the other family members (not just the grandparents). There are important issues that are like ripple effects. We have supplemented their life choices in many ways but they have the opinion that it is not our business what decisions they make. Not everyone has a television show to supplement their lives. This is not a complaint, just what we have lived. I choose to love my all of my kids but we came to a place where we had to decide not be manipulated by them.

That IS a lot of rain!!! 🌧🌧🌧 When I was a child, my family went camping plenty of times in the rain!!! At least you got some time to be outside whold it was dry.
