I maintain that Sonic Battle has some of the best depictions of the characters out of anything aside from the comics. Super underrated game with an awesome concept of getting to use all the moves you want from your favorite characters. I still want a remake :( Also it was the origin for most of the sprite art that got used in all the animations back in the day

I mean there were a decent number of games back in the day that had "Director's Cut" in the name, at least within a few years of that time. Resident Evil, Rogue Galaxy, etc.. What's funny about SADX is that it says Director's Cut, but it didn't actually include anything in the main game that wasn't there in the Dreamcast version, and they actually cut some content you could have gotten on the DC version, lol.

If I recall; the reason why sonic hasn’t had other characters be playable ever was as a response to a lot of people hating the other characters play styles, so they dropped it altogether. Plus the new writers had never interacted with sonic media so they probably had no idea what the hell a big the cat was

I'm glad I don't have a story like the ones at the beginning of the video. I still remember for one Christmas, my Mom tried going all out for me and got me my own tv and a PSP. The PSP was a knockoff from China though, and was actually a cheap music player shaped like a PSP. And the tv was a 12 inch screen, and it wasn't until I had it all set up that she realized how small that actually is.
