My server small tribes 9097 is getting deleted. It’s not even inactive we have 10-15 concurrent players daily. It’s dumb that we’re getting deleted. I’ve seen servers with literal 0 player counts for days not get deleted. Currently trying to appeal the deletion with the people in the server but from the looks of it, we’re gonna lose it. Gotta try and find a new server now

Yes. The Cosmo made basically everything obsolete. The whole Zipline thing and zipline motor? Why even bother? Getting around before Rock Drake? Yi Ling. Really. Its nice you all are having fun with Cosmo and all but you cant deny it basically broke alot of game features.

The pyromane nerf was great... in the server that i play with my friends have been hunting for the hot spot where the pyromane spawn now. We have been able to find the hot spots those dirty things spawn now to kill them and put foundation to block there spawns so they are completly gone in our server as well as kill any pyro other players find and try to tame so that abb remains pure. Yesterday was doing some runs with my rock drake i saw some player taming one so i did what everyone in the server been doing is killing the players and the pyro so that no one can use it.

As a pver the first pyromane nerf was cool i can see and understand why it had to be nerfed,but it being a paid dlc creature and then getting a second secret melee drop change nerf aswell within a hours of the first nerf it received its actually stupid, i sometimes wish wildcard would separate the danm nerfs for pvp and only pvp,us pvers always get caught in the crossfire because of pvpers complaining and whining,they did the same with shadowmanes,manas, and a whole lot more i do hope wildcard learns how to separate codes for pvp and pve because it's ridiculous

In memory of server 8042 pvp consoles only small tribes xbox. This server came out in the 2nd wave of pvp servers when asa launched for xbox. I got my start on this server hoping to become alpha. I was able to get alpha brood done in the early days, however my tribe soon got offline wiped. Sexy stegos ended up being the first alpha tribe of 8042. I came back to 8042 just after the fall of sexy stegos. A new tribe emerged as the new alpha known as Synergy. After some time I was able to join synergy and got to be apart of the alpha tribe of 8042. Was able to get all my bosses and tek cave, since I was in the alpha tribe I got all the notes on the island for the levels. It was an amazing experience and Synergy ruled for about 6 months plus. Our tribe ended up getting offline meshed and we lost almost everything. After that over time many quit and moved on, the server 100% became a ghost town, its a shame we had so much at one point but to know that the server literally died with our fall, feels symbolic. - Greenbeard

And it apparently has permission, I checked with ark and they say so long as the bob skin isn't used everything is allowed to be used. They need to fix this asap. There's a whole bunch of creatures that tame best with the seeds (all light pets and yi ling needs them to tame) and they make living in blue easier than capping tame limit with light pets. They are a core mechanic of the map and it's ridiculous that they don't work.

what i dont understand is the fact the majority of ppl didnt want pyro on abb. but we didnt mind the pre nerf set up of them. To me it seems like wildcard could have just removed them from abb and left them on other maps and everyone would have been happy. A massive nerf seems like a over reaction from them and a 'i have a itchy foot... fetch me the shotgun to fix that' kinda response from them and they must have known the annoyance it would cause.

I would have kept the pyro the same statwise but added a mechanic where you need to ride your pyro fairly often to keep it calm or else it will literally just attack whatever and run off until you can jump back on and chain kill things again. This timer would be persistent through cryo pods so tossing out a neglected one would need a cage. Also breeding would be interesting having to attend to a group of them!

Take a Giga and Titan for instance being very powerful with a main drawback (giga frenzy and Titan starving). They could have just kept the released stats knowing they were already tested and tweaked before release instead of nerfing it because a few vocal folks said it was OP.

question, is it inside buildings? do you have a lot of steampunk lights in your building? ... if you have to many to close to each other it will start flickering. Im not on ps5 but on series x and when i removed enough lights the flickering stopped. Still something they really need to fix though

@@XReflexianit does happen in my base but I have light pets in my house and they cutely light up my home without clapping but I did put lights from the western them in my house so when I get on again I’ll check to see if perhaps any of those lights could be on. The flickering also happens in the red wood mushroom forest similar to the clip Raas showed but it’s not as bad as it was before

I'm on ps5 and have this issue sometimes. I had to turn off a bunch of the lights in my base to stop it. Also I saw my 1st pyromane by the green path to blue zone near the waterfall. I've never interacted with one, but I can't tame it because it's near a 145 basilisk 😢

Since the patch a couple days ago my Deinosuchus can’t swim anymore lol. It’s fine if I stay leveled out but if I tilt up or down his swim speed slows to literally 5% of his movement speed and it’s very buggy. Hopefully that shit gets fixed because it’s making oceanic exploration annoying.

Ark additions creatures haven’t really come with a specific map. It’s more so content for us while waiting for the next map. Cera and X-fish came after scorched and before center. Deinosuchus cane after the center and before abb.

I do agree with reducing the Pyromane spawns, and as much as I love my Pyromane, I also agree that it really doesn't fit the Ab theme. I'm also one of the players who think that it did not need a nerf in abilities/stats. It is what it is though. Magma is still my baby boy, even if WC made him weaker. Perhaps WC could also reduce the Yi-ling spawn too...they're everywhere!

Yes, people can still use tames you change the Traits on without BTT. Traits are still in effect with or without BTT, hence the need to at least make them visible to people without BTT.

It should more than likely be changed but this happens in alot of games when the spots are right. Also the whole "My drake can't do that, it must be a bug" argument also doesn't work because with that logic, I could easily say tamed ravegers are bugged because they don't inflict bleed

One of the most popular maps dropped a couple weeks ago, when this happened the server pop for ALL servers plummeted. Even servers that had a daily average of 20+ went down to 1-2 on a good day… why? Because EVERYONE was playing on aberration. 2. If they think cramming their entire pvp community onto a few servers will be what’s best for the community aka their profits? They’re dead wrong. They’re gonna lose players at the end of the day

I agree with Pyromane's not being on Aberration, because they definitely dont fit the theme. however, as someone who purchased the Pyromane, it is very frustrating that it recieved nerfs of anykind, considering it being a pay to play creature. I feel creatures that are pay to play should be above nerfing, to a certain degree, and not treated as free to play vanilla base game dinos. Its a real f you to all the people who supported the 'fantastic tames' concept, and sets a bad precedent for future dlc creatures. Other measures should be taken to balance these creatures with the vanilla game experience or even, official PVP servers. But nerfing/reducing the abilities to a PAYED creature is not what you do. I feel that people who payed for this product, should have more of say then the people who didnt. I wont be purchasing any future DLC creatures because of this, Wildcard has effectively ruined their PTW incentive for these creatures.

Exactly. A better strategy would have been to released the pyro and had it under perform. And made it a more or less weak dino. Tested sales. And bugged as necessary to hit their sales targets. It's ok to over deliver and to give MORE than what you promised. It's not ok to do the opposite and take away from a product after you sold it to people

That's how it should work so you don't end up ripping off your customers by forcing everyone to buy an op dino just to play and than after you've taken all the money u can get for it you nerf it.. now how many people do you think will trust their brand to buy from in the future. A net negative for everyone involved us and them. Releasing it as an under performer seeing how many buy than gradually incrementally increasing the performance until they reach their sales target would incrntivise and encourage sales of the pyro and future sales moving forward.

A question i have is where are all the supply drop beams gone i still play ark and i cant seem to find supply drops in single player unless i see the drop in the sky so where is the beam for supply drops gone?

I had a similar issue when my global illumination quality graphic setting was too low. I put it to high and started seeing the supply drop light beams again. Might not be the same issue, just thought I'd share in case it helps.

The vast list of servers being sunset is not promising. Even though they're mostly PvP, it does show how the playerbase is dwindling. Unless WC just over compensated and span up way too many?

Some of those are very active servers, they are just trying to save money. Sad for the active people on those servers. Also a big shame for wildcard to shutdown their server and pretend the reason was that they were empty and not being used.

Unpopular Opinion: I think the nerfs were unnecessary, but the majority of haters spoke the loudest and they were indeed nerfed. As far as settings go, it's a fantasy game. I always find it interesting how some players try to apply real world logic to a fantasy game. For reference having sabertooth tigers spawn in snow biomes (look that up). It's gotta be hard to balance a game for both pvp and pve. So I get it. It's still a fun tame and I take mine everywhere.

There's no reason to play club ark because we're all busy trying to keep up with the releases of new maps. There's no point in playing club ark when we can't transfer stuff to the map we're currently on. It's a vicious cycle.
