This was the very first Foxes and Fossils video I ever saw. It's the video that's got me hooked and reeled in to this wonderful group. The vocals are so first rate, so precise in their starts and cut-offs, and so on pitch. The whole band is so darn tight and just a joy to see and hear. And Maggie and Sammi were just teenagers then - just blows my mind how good they were - and still are.

These first F&F videos are definitely my favorites from the band. More naturalness, more freshness and good musical level. I loved them

Buried among hundreds of Todd posts about Todd on his fb page is a link to this F&F video... Thanks to an F&F fan who knows Todd, Tim had the opportunity to meet him backstage at Darrel's House a couple years ago.

Todd Rundgren, "A wizard, a true star"! As a bassist I have to give props to Scott King (RIP). As you said Scott is a musicians bass player.

Love your reactions to this amazing cover band, as well as to the wonderful vocalist, Lucy Thomas. Her cover of Unchained Melody deserves your attention. Keep up the good work.

Todd's music from this era was HEAVILY influenced by Carole King! The Maj7 chords and progressions sound a lot like "It's Too Late" or "I Feel the Earth Move". F&F does a great job as usual.

When you listened to Love is the Answer you mentioned how much you loved Todd Rundgren so I knew then I was going to have to give you this one too. Although the tune is catchy this one line makes me cringe - "They may be stupid but they sure are fun". What I love about Foxes & Fossils has a lot to do with Tim. He is a great singer, knows how to arrange the song so he gets the best out of everything he has to work with, and his skill at recording is fantastic. He could easily have made a living just doing recording and producing stuff for other artists in his basement.

Sentence structure.Talking about dreams (about that special one) they may be stupid but they sure are fun. The dreams are stupid, not the Special One they dream about.

@@lynwessel2471 Excellent. Doesn't make sense TR would have intended it the other way.

Making this song 2x as good, is the obvious fun the group is having. Thanks, Ralph, for all your F&F requests. They are certainly many.

When I watch F&F is seems like they are not trying to impress anyone, they are having too much fun.

Todd got into so much trouble when this came out with the early 70s feminists.
