Congratulations Wesley, your machine is going to make all the difference and being able to produce more of your products faster. You set your mind to something and you make it work. You should be proud of yourself, we definitely are. You have a great mom that is proud of you and encourages you. Thank y’all for sharing your accomplishments. I make my pot pies using a big bowl and add the larger can of cream of chicken and add milk to it. Then I use a couple of cans of drained green beans and drained corn. If I don’t have a chicken then I use about three larger cans of white chicken breast meat, drained. I put it all in a big bowl and stir it up, breaking up the chicken, add salt and pepper and pour it into two deep dish pie crust, then I add the rollout crusts on top of each one, cut slits and beat up an egg and brush it on top. It’s always delicious and it’s so easy. Everyone really likes it. Thank you for taking us along to check the mommas out and their babies. Some of them looked like they were going to race y’all. 😂❤️

The shirt pillow is so cute. Meridith you could use your stockpile to make quilts for your kids. When they move out it would be comforting to have a blanket to remind them that daddy’s got them covered!

The pastures are beautiful with the hills. My wife and I love the hills. The only hills we have here where we live in Louisiana is ant hills. Austin and Wesley are awesome kids. Always honor GOD no matter what other people say. Love y’all

Make a long strap purse. The pockets are good size to carry keys and cell phone. I’d buy one. The back of the shirt for the back of the purse, insert an inside pouch with snap close. The snap closure can be used to close the top of the shirt. Make Christmas stars out of the denim, stuff the stars with fiber fill and loop with a ragged piece of the cloth. So many creative use for the shirts, let your creative mind have fun!!! Use paper to draw patterns be sure to add at least 1/2 seam allowance to the pattern . Have fun don’t stress on perfection just enjoy being creative. I’ve had many sewing mistakes but that’s how you learn. Plus you have an EXCELLENT teacher in Wesley.

5 or 6 stitches per inch is the correct stitch is starting and you need to do a back stitch at the start to lock the first stitch in place good job Wesley

Glad to see Westley getting a sewing machine. That is hard work to do by hand. Last night went and seen Breannas musical play was willy wanka and the chocolate factory. She played two different cast. The one was the unpa lumpa in the play. It was really good. It made people laugh and clap after every scene. I could see the movie in my head and know what was going to happen. Just talked to my older brother who started leathering a couple yrs ago, asked him if he could make a sheath for my Bolo knife I used back in the 70’s to make trails in the jungles of So east Asia, cut bamboo, trees, etc, it’s just as sharp today as it was almost 50 yrs ago, it’s a bamboo sheath with a small belt rope. Brother was talking about sewing machine and what it entailed to make one, guess will be looking for a professional leather crafter.

That’s and an industrial serger is what I used for making drapery’s made many now they have been sold and I have my table top serger and sewing machine. lol I can still make drapes with the smaller machines what I really with I had was a hemming machine makes life easier then trying to keep your gem line straight and aiming right at the turn over on the tabletop machine. lol has been a dream to own one for so so many yrs. But not in the line I use. I can still get away with the regular sewing machine. Now I have a new great grandchild to sew for, gender reveal is on the 23rd and I can’t wait. My granddaughter and her husband are married to the Navy so yep I’m so proud of them both. I love seeing our youth learn a new skill that can take them places next he will be making boots and saddles. Love it. Tfs ❤😊
