I love how much you show that parenting is something you do together. That it is not just on the mum. That time of for fathers is important. Most people always say, yes it is important but you guys are actually showing it and it seems like you truly life by that. Grey is adorable, I wish you all the best!

Also TOTALLY agree that the focus shouldn't all be about the birth when you are pregnant! The birth.. you get through.. it's the "after" that broke me!

Totally this! My biggest criticism of NCT is that it really focuses on the birth which actually is such a small part

In Germany the midwife comes to your home every day after birth for at least 14 days. Its a missive help with feeding and all other issues regarding you and your newborn. I am so glad I had that help. 💕

In Croatia we have a nurse coming to see you for months. Also after C section you will be staying in a hospital a week.

It made a huge difference for us, especially with the feeding. I think otherwise I would've had problems with the feeding, but she kept correcting me each day and made breastfeeding go smooth

That's amazing. We don't have that in Canada. Other than regular doctor's appointments to check on the baby after they're born, you're on your own.

Oh yes, I also loved the daily visits from our midwife. Helps so much with all the feeding issues and In can still text her now everytime I have a question and my baby is already seven months old.

Lily is known for being incredibly honest on her channel and this video was completely honest and open about how they are going. Clicked immediately when I saw this.. agree with everything you said about life with a newborn! You don’t know until you know. 😅 but you’re doing great, you seem like a very good team! Huge congratulations to you both. What a stunning name love it. You can do all the pre planning but nothing can explain the experience. It’s so tough the first six months but your doing a great job, be kind to yourselves and each other. Sleep deprivation is the worst. Well done on sticking with the breastfeeding, Lansinoh is brilliant and they do beads that you can put in the fridge/freezer they are heaven. Congratulations! I love that Rich is being so supportive! I literally high fives the TV when he was talking about how he should be involved with helping you feed etc. Love it. Breastfeeding is hard but it does get better. By about 8 weeks with routine etc it all starts to feel a bit more normal.
