She tracked the guy down about a month later for a repeat performance, and he said, "Yea, I remember you. You're the girl who passed out on my floor." She never even took her clothes off that night and no s** either. Turned out he was the bartender, the two people she was with disappeared, she sat alone drinking, and he was worried she'd get raped or murdered. She couldn't tell him where she lived; this was pre everyone walks around with a phone days, and couldn't tell him who to call. So, he took her to his apartment and was going to let her sleep it off on his couch. Walked in got her sat down and went to get her a blanket, came back and she was out cold on the floor. I think she said he even checked her for a pulse.

Didn't get accepted into the academy and got referred to a therapist. Therapy dealt with her self doubt, lack of confidence, poor self image. Got sober, went back to college. Has a Ph.D in electrical engineering.
