Oh dear McFred, please get better, you are so loved ❤ Chad his bond with you will be even stronger after this, as coos know when they are sick and you look after them, it changes the connection, you'll see. That was an amazing temporary race idea, well done, a great solution in such an emergency. Lots of healing to you all, lets hope those flu bugs pack their bags soon. This was a great video, so glad Rae was there, these times are easier when you have each other, and you chose a real "star" bringing her into your life. Its so exciting watching watching your lives unfold as a family on this piece of land. Thank you deeply and with appreciation for this journey you share so generously. 🙏🐂

Poor Fred. He looks really sick. Prayers that the meds will kick in fast. The little bit of air wouldn’t hurt him at all. Some meds you have to use a little air so the med is all injected and doesn’t stain the skin.

You both did good. I have to say Rae is a natural at taking care of the animals! Big animals equal big needles. A lot of the medications are thicker for the large animals and obviously they need more than a cat or dog. At ag school we had to inject penicillin in dairy cows. Now that's one tough shot!!

@betsytoth74702 жыл бұрын
For future use you need to have a cattle paddle, a sorting stick or even a yellow wiffle bat(the long skinny ones) that way you can direct a cow or bull easier instead of you running back and forth. You can direct them by tapping on one side or the other. Your squeeze gates worked very well.
