I went to road Atlanta for FD this weekend and it was my first time going to FD. I’ve watched some FF in the past but haven’t really followed it. Now that I went to my first event I’m going to keep watching it as it is sick. The control you guys have over the Chaos is amazing. I’m definitely going to go to FDATL again next year

Considering how many times smoke has caused delays at Atlanta the airboat is not a terrible idea. Funnily enough my Mom had a similar idea about five years ago. I was watching the fd live stream and complaining about the smoke delays and she said "why don't they put a big fan on a trailer and follow them". I honestly I dismissed her because I never thought about air boats and them being essentially a v8 with a fan attached to it. I should probably tell her she was on to something.

I think it would have been good to ask nate what ask people what they get from a sponsor, you made a great point before, people can do lots for a sponsor that makes saves them buying seats or shocks, so few thousand saved, but their parents give them 100,000 and really they should be minding the parent relationship like it's a 100,000 grand sponsor. I get most won't tell you what they get off of a sponsor. Nate probably couldn't do what he does now 10 years ago, drifting is growing and allowing through its growth and technology around it like KZbin and social media the opportunity to make money in different areas. I'm in Ireland been following drifting for maybe 25 years, and to see Dave Egan hosting and commenting at events is something that wouldn't happen ten years ago, drift masters wasn't big enough to make him big enough to allow these opportunities. Are the battles or qualifier a timed run? Seemed your going to fast to make the corners how the judges want you to make through the tracks perfect line, or, is there more points for more speed with the tracks "perfect line" not being correct? You might be thrashing your car and hurting the score It looks like to me.. but I love the aggressive no fucks given, just whip that wheel back and fourth, pedal to medal. Them cars are insane!

there's one thing i don't get,how vaughn wins with a car that he will share with adam,and chelsea and james driving full time not being able to perform like people expect,especially with james,when i heard he that he came back and with an rtr i thought he was going to dominate,but it's like he has some difficulties with the car,i don't know if you guys watched him at the drift masters,he was like a different driver,i hope he gets to the point where he will be able to perform with the rtr like he performs with the s15.

Vaughn eats, drinks ,breaths mustang his whole FD career! so he basically knows all the ins and outs of that chassis. you could say the same about James with his S14. Give him a machine that handles exactly like his 2nd skin (S14) and he'll slaughter everyone(what he did with Worthouse S15, he mentioned in the 1st testing video). remember the base setup for the handling for this car = vaughn, from all the way back to 2017 with the infamous 3wheel motion, it was chelsea who came and dialed it down a little bit but making the car faster. Anyways I noticed that James likes his cars stiff and snappy, this mustang kinda is but it keeps gaing speed everywhere, it doesnt even matter if its at max angle and its still comfortable even at the limits, that what throws ppl off because the car want to go beyond to the limits that you are used to.. thats my humble theory

Vaughn has a great mindset to win and that is one of the most important things to him. His mental game and driving style fits these cars more than anyone I know. He does what it takes to win. For this event he did have a much easier bracket (by chance) than the both of us, and I much different mindset as he isn't a contender for the championship. Not that any of this is excuses for myself, I don't have any, James has to learn the car and that takes time and serious will power at the track.
