YAY! loved this so much, can’t wait for more youtube wedding content! if i had to guess it’s in France! Also, Hannah you should get a wedding band which you could wear with your engagement ring! for vows, i would say do them in front of people, especially since it will be a smaller group it will be more intimate and you guys will feel more comfy doing them with the small group of people, also, coming from someone who has been to some weddings, guests love hearing the vows (i always cry lol) but it connects you to the couple! you guys could also write each other notes that are very personal the morning of the wedding to read! and instead of doing a first look, you could do a first touch so then you don’t see each other until u walk down the aisle! so excited for you guys, i already know it’s gonna be such a stunning wedding and i cannot wait to hear more! ❤❤❤

My fiancé said if he had to read his vows in front of everyone he knew he’d end up unintentionally writing them with the audience in mind and he wanted to make sure the vows were just for me. Ask Dylan if reading in front of people would influence what he says!! Because you don’t want that

Definitely do a cake for cutting it together, but don’t spend a ton of money on a cake for everyone! Do a two tier to cut (you freeze one part of it for your one year anniversary). Do a fun dessert bar! We are doing a donut bar with coffee! Love you guys!

Getting married April 30th and been watching so many wedding videos. Would love to see more videos. My dress is being custom made but it’s the same price as I would have paid for a dress in store and actually cheaper because I don’t need to add in alterations. Ours is going to be on a farm and not because it’s in. I wanted a beach but the hotel was going to be 24k jisy for food and beverage for 125 people because you need to use in house catering. Checked out 10 venues and decided on the farm because I love the outside and the owners are so nice. Our catering for the same amount of people will be about 5-6k and alcohol im estimating 3k so 8-9k is a lot cheaper than 24k. We dedicated to do a first look because of time and it will also help with the nerves I believe. We are doing traditional vows. And cake we will be getting at Publix. 300$ for 3 tiered and then cupcakes as well. For variety. My colors are pink, white, and silver.

We did our vows in front of people, we had a smaller group like you guys did and all of my family members/ friends loved it! Our vows were super special, and other people appreciated hearing them because it gives u a glimpse into the couples relationship! Also, get a wedding band as well Hannah, you can get one that attaches or goes well with the band of your engagement ring! Congrats guys, it will be a stunning wedding🎉🤍

Honestly we got the most delicious/gorgeous/ dream wedding cake (it honestly wasn’t even expensive either) and people were so focused on the great party that hardly anyone ate cake. I as the bride made it a priority to eat the cake but we had a TON leftover and had the same size wedding you guys are expecting to have (100-120). Just from a fellow bride’s perspective! If anything I’d get easily accessible desserts that are smaller/less work to execute.

Traveling and doing a honeymoon right after the wedding is soooo worth it. Yes you’re tired but your adrenaline and excitement is so unlike anything else and just being able to decompress and talk about the day and just be the two of you is such a good way to do it in my opinion. I feel like it would lose its magic if you came home and got back into your routine and then went. But again that’s just my take based on what we did!

Loved this! If you are having a smaller group of people come, i recommend doing vows in front of people! There will be no awkwardness because a smaller group= closer friends and family! You guys could write each other a note along side you day of gifts to each other that is more private, or you could do vows in front of people. Also do a first touch since you aren’t doing a first look (which i love that, because it’s special to see your husbands reaction for the first time when you’re walking down the aisle!). During your first touch you could also talk about more personal stuff or do the note, but I do recommend doing the vows in front of people since it’s a smaller group, I personally love when couples do vows in front of the wedding, it’s a fun glimpse into the part of their relationship that we don’t always see with our own eyes! So excited for the two of you💕

Even though I am not engaged or married but my sister is getting married in June and they are doing their vows in front of the guest! My sister is also having same color for Bridesmaids dresses but different styles and mine is somewhat different since I am the maid of honor! My sister will be going to Europe for their honeymoon and I would recommend having a private last dance! I would also recommend getting pictures with your guests! I would also recommend doing after the tone(it is where your guests can leave voicemails for you!)

I loved this video so much!! I am a wedding photographer and personally - I really love first looks! A first look is a super beautiful and intimate time for you guys since it will be the first (and maybe only! time you are truly alone together on your day! It gives you that peace and comfort to just finally share in what the day is all about, and it is a super fun and intimate way to roll into personal vows. A major plus too is that first looks generally will allow you guys to have more time to sneak away to your cocktail hour later on and enjoy the party! I think the biggest plus to them though is the fact that they give you a lot of quality time together on your day with a bit of privacy! I think you would love it! No matter what you choose though, the day is going to be absolutely perfect and I cannot wait for you both!

💯 agree with good curated music, cocktails, people you actually like and care about. We planned our wedding around things that we were excited about not what we thought the guests would like. We kept it very high quality but not high quantity. 4 or 5 special things instead of a bunch of things that meets everyone else’s needs. Meaning this isn’t from the point of view where you are hosting a party at your house and are trying to make sure everyone is having a great time over yourselves.

We did not do a first look, it felt more special when I seen my husbands reaction for the first time walking down the aisle. We did not do vows at our wedding. And instead of a cake we did cupcakes. For bridesmaid dresses I just told them the color I wanted and they picked the dress they wanted

We did vows privately, but caught on camera by our videographer. It was incredibly intimate and gave us freedom to laugh and cry on our own time, but also gave us the option to include in our wedding video and share with others if we wanted.

I don’t like public speaking, so we did the standard vows for the ceremony and personal vows on our honeymoon! I was so nervous that I forgot what the officiant said and asked him what was next 😂 everyone got a good laugh out of that

My husband did a jacket/outfit change and we both loved it. Also, for the ceremony we did the vows and I loved hearing people laugh at our jokes and hear our heartfelt sentiments. I would say if you get married in Mexico do Asia because it'll be an easier flight to go that direction. Maybe Fiji, Bora Bora, Bali. If you get married in Europe go to another country or two like Spain and France or Italy and Switzerland. We did our honeymoon the next day and I wouldn't have done it any other way. I know you two travel quite a bit anyway, but even though the wedding is a lot of energy and socializing I didn't feel drained. I actually felt so full of love and excited to go relax and explore a place with my husband. I would say try to go somewhere new.

I've been married for 4 years and since our wedding, I have been asking/ telling my husband that we have to redo our vows because I HATED that we were being watched so I want a redo somewhere private, just us. If I could do my wedding over, that is the only aspect I would change. oh, I would have pushed my husband harder to agree to a first look, again to have that moment of just us.

I wanted a 50p ceremony and then a party with ~200... Ended up engaged to someone with a huge 150p family, both of us already had big jobs and lots of friends, also parents are inviting guests since we both are the oldest siblings of 4... Somehow we ended up having 670p invited. It's common for about 70% of invited arrive so basically I'm having a 400-450p wedding. Go figure
