As long as you throw in some chopped jalapeno or red pepper flakes or tobasco, you can make anything taste great. One final note, eating a raw onion would not be a penalty in my book. Love 'em!

Hi, guys. I love your videos. I have an unrelated question to this video. I notice that you often favor a higher ABV bourbon over others (certainly not always and you have spoken highly of 80 proof bourbons before). So, I wondered, do you think higher ABV on it's own, whether it's bourbon or beer or whatever is a quality that you approve of regardless of the drink? Or am I off base here? Is ABV an influential factor in determining quality?

I have many thoughts on this...but as I watch yall...I noticed that yall don't give much attention to color. You mentioned about oily..fine...but as I think about it,yall never talk about the color of any bourbon/ rye...My current Booker is uneventful. It's tasty in the beginning just after the pour,then in minutes,many flavor notes dissappear with almost no finish. The color is awesome but not indicative of its flavors....or lack there of. That being said,I wouldn't buy it again, and not as good as Bookers I had in 97 98 2000. I'm so unimpressed with Blantons. It's quite one dimensional.
