I have these and I have to agree - they may be the best total value out there. Sound is awesome, fit is great, comfort is great. Really like them. My TrueEngine 3 SE do sound a bit better, but they’re more $$ of course.

For the music test, I usually test new buds with the Steely Dan album, ‘Aja’. It’s generally agreed to be one of the most tightly produced and highest quality album in music history. Good for comparing audio detail.

I actually just ordered these today. So far I've tried and sent back the SoundPEATS True Wings, Soundcore Spirit X2's, and the MPOW'S Flame Lites. Issues being either sound quality or fit as the primary use is the gym. My daily driver are Airpods Pro, but they're not gym-friendly as I have to keep adjusting them tighter into my ears. My test music is just my workout playlist. Anything from Slipknot to Five Finger Death Punch.

Englishman in New York by Sting. It is my go to song for checking each and every headphone, whether they cost me several hundreds or just 10 bucks. The song has clear highs, showcase detail with the little rasp in Sting's voice, tests the dynamic with the drums in the middle of the song. I found that if headphones can handle this song I can use it for all types of music; jazz, blues, EDM (trap, drum n bass, etc), hip hop, rock, all types of metall (even death metall). The only exception is classical music.

I personally go to Sound Of Madness - Shinedown Shed Some Light - Shinedown Rotting in Vain - KoRn Liar - KoRn I think hard rock and metal are left out of earbud reviews across the baord, and you are my favorite earbud reviewer. I currently use the Bomaker SiFi 2 and I used to use the Jabra Elite 65ts. I actually prefer the SiFis, they just work better. Smaller case, better sound stage, touch controls, usb-c, etc.

There are two on the same CD. On the Morph the Cat CD by Donald Fagen. The first is Mary Shut the Garden Door and the other is The Great Pagoda of Funn. These songs will make or break any pair of buds I get. These songs returned both the Soundpeats TE3 SE's and Tranya B530 Pro's to Amazon. If buds don't make the grade with these songs, I can't justify keeping them around. Also, the music app I use on my OnePlus 7 Pro is Poweramp Pro. Thanks for the review El Jefe.

3:13 I kind of always put a hi-fi list on KZbin and a soundtest for headphones but i like metal, progressive, jazz and classical. I think a great way to hear how the headsets separate sounds is by hearing some renaissance or baroque choral music. Try a modern choral music as well like Erik Whitacre's Alleluia which really can stress your gear.

Mine have random music shutdown. I don't know if it is some compatibility issues with my phone but I found also some people have this problem. I have never this issue on my previous tws. The batt. Is just decent, the bass is good and mid and highs are just average for me. The only pros are the fit, the ipx7 rating, and the price specially if you get them on sale.

If I'm testing the bass of the earbuds, I usually go for Ice Cream by Blackpink, mainly because the of the bass sequence. The low range of an earbuds can really be tested in that song's bass sequence. If wanted to test the sound separation, I would listen to Shinzou Wo Sasageyo by Linked Horizon to hear the difference between the instruments and the voice. Another song that I use to test sound separation is My War by Shinsei Kamattechan. There's this one part where there's 3 melodies playing at the same time. So that part can indicate weather or not the sound separation is good for me. Anyways, love your vid as always!!

How are the calls, talk and receiving quality on these ear buds?.I do a lot of calls in between podcasts. BTW, I appreciate the positivity with this channel. Will definitely return just for that. These are just ok for calls. I would NOT recommend budget TWS for your use case. I would instead present you with two scenarios. 1. Buy a call center headset from Jabra, Plantronics, Mpow, or TaoTronics. Much better call quality for the money. It's not even a close comparison. 2. Depending on your device: iPhone = AirPods Pro. Samsung = Galaxy Buds Pro. Otherwise Jabra 85t, Sony XM3, Sennheiser MTW2 as well as Galaxy Buds Plus/Live.

My M30+ just arrived a few hours ago. I absolutely love them! Amazing in any point also just 35€:) idk how much they are in the us. But I think pretty similar.

These are better than: Edifier X3, Mpow M30, Tozo T10 All the others beat the TrueFree 2 but not by much.

Check out the Lypertek Tevi. Those are the only TWS I've tested with that type of sound signature.
