I'm heartbroken to hear Dinner is leaving. He is such an integral part of the RLN family! I hope he's making the right decision. I wish him the best and hope he drops by from time to time to visit. He will truly be missed.😢 I think that time will help work out the bugs on the Limo and it will become a fun addition to the fleet. I can see installing seats with belts of course and giving folks rides, in style on the trails. I'm guessing the limo frame is stiff enough already since it's made to handle the weight of a bunch of people inside. You need to put a bunch of people inside with helmets on and video them flying around inside while you wheel it. Should be pretty cool!

If you have ever seen how they stretch a car, you would question the strength of the build. They cut the car in half, slide in a couple of beams to make up the frame, scab in enough sheet metal to waterproof the floor, and hide everything with lots of carpet.

@@robertheinkel6225 it depends how much the person who ordered it wants to spend both of mine have bus frame from the front to the humps and the rest is boxed and plated the sheetmetal work looks like all the other seams (spot welded seam sealed and a skim coat of mud outside) most vehicles have carpet and plastic hiding the seams

The frame should be fine they're stronger than most stretched 4x4s mine aren't lifted and when the company that made them did the frame they used bus frames to the humps and boxed and plated everything from there back and boxed the bus frames everywhere a crossmember and triangulated bracing is

Drop pitman arms tend to break in rocks trying to get sidebite or bumping 1 tire at a time up a ledge especially if you go over 2.5 inch drop or add hydro assist I always weld a tube to the bottom of my boxed plated frame and lower the steering box drop pitman arms are a fix like using a t-case drop to correct a rear driveline angle it just causes problems elsewhere (those that don't know dropping the t-case to get the rear driveline angle right makes the front driveline angle worse) personally I'd figure out a different fix or keep it out of serious stuff
