Maybe I am the one who misunderstood the logic behind cold showers, but from what I know is that it tells your brain that you survived something bad and gives reward as dopamine. I always shower with warm water but at the end rinse my self in cold one and it works just fine

I would like to say, I'm so sorry for your experience taking you cat to the vet Jodi. I've had multiple experiences of vets not doing their due diligence and finding the problem before it becomes a serious problem. I've struggled a lot with trusting what any vet says when I know my animals better than they ever could.

Jodi is so probably one of the most naturally, beautiful people in the streaming industry. Inside and out. Pure sincerity and confidence. These aren't the people (in the world) ) who naturally attract almost everyone they encounter. It's effortless. Then you get John. Who is whatever I said x2 + super funny.

Speaking of how relatable Jodi is, I relate SO hard to her story about Mable and the needle. Roughly a year ago, my puppers (He’s a cockalier, for those care!), who was around a year old at the time, are a freaking penny. For those who don’t know (I didn’t until this experience.), most pennies are hella toxic for dogs because of the zinc in them. (Older pennies, without zinc in them, aren’t poisonous, as far as I know at least.) They also stick to the lining of the stomach really well (As do all coins, I believe.), which just gives extra time for the zinc to absorb into their bodies. As wild as it is, they can legit kill doggos, which is sad and scary as hell. Anyway, after making him throw up like 6 or 7 times, visiting our local vet (25 min away), then the emergency vet (1.5 hrs away), an unsuccessful scope “surgery” in an attempt to pull it out through his mouth (it had already moved past his tummy, which would require a much more major surgery), a night at the emergency vet for observation, a couple days afterwards of awful anxiety and fear/while it was still inside of him, and then finally absolute relief once he passed it! (The ER vet was confident that he was gonna pass it without any real complications, which is why I didn’t put him through the much more invasive/serious surgery to retrieve it sooner. Otherwise I absolutely would’ve found a way to pay the $8,000 to save his life!) So… at the end of the day I spent around $2,500, spent my two days off driving around ALL over the place and at the vet/emergency vet, and lived in CONSTANT worry for roughly 5 days straight, all for my puppy to shit put a penny. lol. Buuut I’d do it all over again 100 times to keep him here and healthy. (I just wish the little shit would stop eating/chewing on everything his nosey little ass can find. We’ve had a couple issues since but, thankfully, none have been anywhere near as serious!) ANYWAY, I know pretty much exactly what Jodi was going through at that time (Except I think a needles would add another layer of freaked out to the whole experience! Not to mention having some actual recovery time after bringing Mable home, which is always stressful.) I hate that she had to go through that experience too as I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst enemy! But I am sooooo glad it all worked out in the end!!
