Fired from Raiders to Tennessee (Walked away from Tenn in the middle of the night) to USC ( Fired on the airport tarmac for losing season records) to Alabama as the OC (Fired by Saban 3 days before the National Championship Game against Clemson after he didn't show up for days for practice after Saban had endorsed him for a HC job at FAU) to FAU to Ole Miss now to?????? Kiffin just said in an interview two days ago that he was happy at Ole Miss and was committed to his players at Ole Miss. To be clear I could NOT stand Lane Kiffin for years. Didn’t like when he arrived at Bama. He is not the same man that coached for the Raiders, Tennessee and USC though. He’s been humbled and hardened. He was ALWAYS a dynamite OC. He spent every second at Bama learning how to be a leader of young men. It was a total success too. It’s undeniable. He leaves for Florida Atlantic and immediately wins back to back conference titles. He then goes to Ole Miss and make no mistake WHATSOEVER, the Ole Miss program is better now than they EVER have been. EVER. MANNINGS included. He will win a Natty wherever he goes next and that’s where he’ll spend the rest of his career. Bank it and he’s earned whatever success he ends up with. He’s also earned respect across the game that spat on him at one time.

Any school that fires their coach at the airport after a game and does not even tell him face to face that he was fired according to you is a winning program. Kiffin was so toxic after that no school wanted to come within ten miles of him. But Coach Saban at Alabama gave him a second chance to revive his career by hiring him as his OC. He did a great job at Alabama which led Saban to recommend him as a HC at FAU. He repaid Saban and Alabama by not showing up for work after he was officially hired at FAU. Again it cost Bama a NATTY. Lane Kiffin has always been about himself and no one else. Ole Miss is getting ready to experience what all of the other schools have experience when dealing with Kiffin. So that BS you are talking about is simply BS. No more talk.

Have you not seen the energy and connection to the players Caddilac has? That is why his team is 2-1. He is a players coach and he is 2-1. Our previous coach had a impressive record before he came to auburn and we know how that worked out. A head coach is only as good as his staff. The other unqualified head coach is is currently undefeated, master recruiter, brand builder, energy provider that will instantly make our program relevant to future recruits. The only coach recruits have openly vouched for and are willing to flip for. They are both positive leaders of men

He has provided me with a lifetime of entertainment. However that doesn’t immediately make him qualified for a SEC HC. Look at it reasonably. His entire coaching career can be summed up in 3 total jobs. IMG high school, Birmingham Iron, and Auburn. He has coached under a total of two college coaches. Gus and Harsin. That’s it. Same goes for Sanders except I wouldn’t give him the shirt off my back as I have never been a huge fan of his… but like Caddy, Sanders is completely an unproven commodity at this level.

He has done his job. But even he knows he has no chance at the job. It’s such a big deal to him simply because he loves the school and this is an opportunity not easily earned. He isn’t like Dabo who coached under successful coaching staffs prior to taking over at Clemson. Caddy has coached under the last two fired coaches. That’s it. He has no business being the permanent HC. It has everything to do with experience and less than nothing to do with his skin color. Skin color plays no part in either of my comments. Auburn is not clearly a better job. Oxford is a better town, culture, and university. The main reason Auburn has had more success is they’ve played the $game$ longer. Ole Miss didn’t really get into it until Freeze. Brand recognition is a thing but I think OM’s would be better if they got their hands dirty like them. They’ve just done all they can to keep up with big brother. And for real you need to look it up- Auburns NIL is not ahead of Ole Miss.
