The Sit-Intifada founder Ihab al-Azhari addressed thousands of pro-Palestine supporters in Naarm on Sunday the 9th of June, platforming the words of Gazan mother and educator Mariam. Mariam reminds us all of the unwavering courage and resilience of the Palestinian soul.
When the state seeks to suppress the struggle for Palestinian liberation, we must respond with that same courage, that same steadfastness, that same grounded refusal to be divided or disappeared.
The violence of the zionist entity and its allies will feel temporarily like a powerful force. But that faux power is ultimately useless, impotent in the face of the collective power of a people rooted in love and connection - of and to each other, of and to the land.
