You hit the nail right on the head. There are dolly friend that buy reborn for the interaction, not just to collect (that is me). I prefer to get a cheaper version aka as a replica, because I know that it can be worn out. If I spent thousands of dollars on an original reborn, I would feel so guilty changing her and handling her too much.

FACTS, FACTS and more FACTS!! Sis, you always give it to us raw and uncut. I agree , the replicas are checking both boxes, an art doll with realism that you get with the reborn AND the durability of the paint/hair that you may NOT get with reborn! And the bonus is you’re paying a fraction of the cost! The reborns are very expensive but as collectors we’re buying them because we love and appreciate the artwork! Even though quality control/ testing probably isn’t being done. I don’t understand why some of these artists don’t remain neutral, how is it business savvy to alienate your customers , it’s down right stupid!! Damn shame… cutting off their nose to spite their face. It’s a very valid point if you stand against a business because their practices are unethical why are you continuously supporting them !! You can’t straddle the fence, you have to pick a side, unless your point is NULL and VOID!! Thanks sis for keeping it 100!!

First off beautiful Saskias…it’s one of my favorite sculpt! I own an authentic and a full body silicone that I painted of the saskia. Your 3 girls are gorgeous. I agree with you, I think the non authentic are amazing and I think they are not stolen. To come at us and not the company is crazy. We’re not buying dolls out of a trunk that could be stolen but to just assume they are stolen is so wrong without proof and if they are stolen where is the proof and yes why can they buy everything on those sites except the doll and say because their stolen but they don’t think nothing else on their is stolen lol! We can buy what ever we want as long as it’s there to buy and the reasons they come at us is because they like to cause drama and it’s jealousy for sure. I think it’s crazy that people are so worried about a doll them all the horrible things going on in our world. This was a great video. Thanks for sharing mama ❤ god bless

I had that horrible situation with my custom Alexa Marie and thats why i don't get customs made anymore. I wont even say what ive spent on my collection its ridiculous when you add it up. The biggest thing that I find humorous about the dolly police & those screaming copyright fraud, and acting like they are victims, is that these same sculptors, their proto artists, their collectors and their followers that hang onto every word they say as truth- is that they will go and sculpt characters that literally infringe on other big industry name sculptors. These sculptors even now are continuing to sculpt knock off versions of; Grinches, Avatars, Treasure Troll Babies, Precious Moments, etc. but they all of a sudden will be offended when the same is done to them. They will come and stalk YOU, THE BUYER of something they sculpt, and support those that help them bully... but there's a double standard when they do it. This is hypocrisy at it's finest, and why I have no sympathy for them. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Don't protect your work properly, sleep in the consequences.

This entire industry is filled with scared adults that will follow along with the bullying, etc. because it somehow benefits them. It's never about what is the right thing to do. There's always an agenda... most will flock around a sculptor because they can't wait for a proto opportunity, or to try & snuff out their percieved competition. Keep doing what you do by enjoying your dolls & pay them no mind. As a sculptor myself my dolls are copyright protected & I haven't had one copied yet. If my dolls were being copied though, I would want those that love my dolls to enjoy them, to help promote them for me by showing them off & to be happy. I would make life Hell on Earth for the ones manufacturing them though. 😆🔥 I think those witch hunting and bullying just need a different hobby & to stop cycling in the chaos they created by not being better business people. I told many of them approx. 5 years ago that I'd still hear them crying about the same sh!t- and here they still are. #cyclingthesametrack

oh, and NPK Dolls was the producer of my 1st kit, Ava. They were a legitimate company until mid 2012-ish when they started re-reproducing many of the sculptors kits that they were originally the producers for. I started investigating them more around 2016...and realized when I came across papers online, why things were getting so out of hand. Many of these China companies were acting as Franchise companies. They would peddle to other factories (all under new names, like Kadora, Adora, etc) to produce the same kits again. They owned the original molds, and soon they started producing the kits in mass, like you see now. This is why these kits are identical clones of the original. With 3D printing tech now, we are all able to see why for instance with many of Bonnie's kits, they are able to offer all different sizes of Saskia, Twin A & B, Levi, etc. The thing with copyright in China is that they are held to the laws too under the Berne convention- but you have to file copyright here, and in China. If you have that, it makes it possible to actually go after the infringers. 270 countries, including China are held accountable through this. I have long preached this topic, but it never went anywhere, except for a few sculptors that I helped to advise in how to go about doing it. The real company that sculptors should go after is Joy Doll. Joyce has been covertly remanufacturing sculptors kits for over a decade now...but sculptors keep sending her kits because she's cheaper than the other companies. My company in China seems to be pretty honest, but they are more expensive, & sometimes they can be wishy washy on their production dates. That's the nature of the beast. Lastly, none of these kits are toxic. There are laws that prohibit Phthalates in these dolls, and other toys that are allowed by our US government to be allowed into the country. There is false hype & deliberate rumors spread that they are, because it's easier for the ones saying it, to say it- than to copyright their work. I mean, this is literally down to laziness at this point. When I copyrighted my unicorn kits, it was $35 each.

Seena I have a bad situation with a return of a doll. After returning and expecting a full refund I am being told the varnish is cracked near her eyebrow. It is I saw the photo but I did not see that when I had her! She said I squeezed the head causing it! She says the eyes are wonky so accusing me of doing something to the eyes. I did not touch them! I have only had the doll a couple of days. So due to her accusations against me damaging her doll she is changing me $250 for the return and damage I did not do. I received the doll 6 months late. Bad varnish, no rooted eyelashes and some tips missing on her toes I did not do. She is only promising to refund me by December 1st. Not right away. I am at her mercy now and feel she is just screwing me on accusing me of damaging the doll. That’s what makes me so angry! I am paying $250 for her mistakes. Now if she had told me she had a restocking fee up front that would have set with me better. Believe me after I get my money back I will be doing a video to expose her! At least that is how I feel right now. From now on I paint my own. I’m a good artist but prefer to purchase my dolls finished. My collection is at 11 now so I will not even be looking at dolls. I will remove myself from all Facebook groups except Julie’s. No browsing, no looking at dolls on Facebook. I will work to be content and paint replicas for myself if I want one. I am so finished with artists putting the full blame on collectors or their customers!❤❤❤On December 1st if I don’t get the money she promised I will do a video!😡May I add I had a box show up empty to my customer. It was heartbreaking for both of us. I returned her money in full right away! I don’t spend the money until my customer is happy.❤❤❤
