Russia already lost from the first month they invaded. Their troops are undertrained and equipment old and antiquated. Wagner troops lost more than 80% of the prisoners they abducted. This is needless bloodshed from a little dictator who wants to be the big conqueror.

Yeah, Ukraine is winning on twitter... Real life is a completely different matter. Ukraine already lost most trained and motivated soldiers along with almost all hardware it had before the war plus hundreds of tanks and IFVs it got from Eastern Europe (to understand the scale of losses it had 1 990 tanks, 1 212 IFVs, 1 112 heavy artillery systems, 354 multiple rocket launchers). Its army is a shadow of its former self at the beginning of the war. Zelenskyy is catching and forced conscripting mostly people with zero motivation to die for him, who never served in the army, often disabled. Mass summary executions for attempted surrender or unauthorized retreat just cause further demoralization and despair. When such people are in the trenches, it means that the front can collapse at any moment. Biden administration is becoming really desperate.

Joshua Paul - Your neglect to mention the fact that the Ukrainians in their September breakthrough captured more Russian tanks, IFVs, and artillery than what Ukraine fielded in February 2022 before the invasion began. The captured equipment is now being reconditioned and will be put back into use by May. Ukraine has also done a much better job than Russia in mobilizing and training soldiers. You are totally wrong when you describe Ukrainian replacement soldiers as "mostly people with zero motivation." Unlike the Russian conscript replacements, virtually all of the Ukrainian replacements are highly motivated people who are striving to save their country and their families from Russian tyranny.
