Such a wonderful video from our homearea. You nailed it. Perfect information to gief people a good feeling og packing the «rygg-sekk» for a hike, at Kinn Island. I have worked there as a local guide, also with CruisePortFlorø. This Island is just one of a kind. Behind the Kinnaklova, you can find traces of old stoneage settlements. It is pretty amazing to think about that this area was a workingplace for up to 15000 workers during the herringfish period of the north sea. Back in 1800. Also the Herring fishing from here is mentioned in Snorre Saga. Many famous Vikings came from this area. Eirik Bloodaxe was one of them. Growing up in fostercare at Svanøy. Awesome work Camilla. Thank you so much for your encouraging comment, it makes me so happy and motivated to make more videos! Ha ha I know, i used many years on my own to gather the info needed. 😃 My focus the latest years have been on stone age and Viking time. So if needed i can assists you on that. We have so many special places here, situated between Sognefjord and Nordfjord. Even many rock carving places that definitely is worth checking out. Offer is there, just let me know. 👍😘

Great video, well worth visiting Kinn, Florø and the surrounding area! 🙂 Would also recommend traveling to the other mountain/area in Florø that is shown in Dune. I do not think there are many who have caught it, but it is a couple of seconds from Storebotn in the direction of Blåfjell (for locals) in addition to that from Kinn.
