Congratulations man, here's to 2024! Our car is a 2003 IS300 Sportcross, bought it at 46K miles and it's now sitting at 56K. It's been to Paris and back with our dogs and love it!

Been watching your vids for awhile now but just subscribed recently, your content really helps love how you show what really happens when putting parts on instead of editing parts out. Definitely helping me on my IS boost journey. Fuel pressure regulator up next!
@Knownworldwide11 ай бұрын
Appreciate you sticking around and I appreciate the support! Yeah, I feel like most videos just glaze over the importance of showing people how to actually put parts on. Not people know how to do that and that’s why I make the videos. To help and learn too. Pick up a camera, I’d love to see your build progress!

@@JZS160-NAT Stock GE motor? I have run mine on 9psi now for a week. So far so good. I am really wanting to get to a solid 10psi. See how my fueling looks and go from there.
@JZS160-NAT10 ай бұрын
@@Knownworldwide stock GE same with ecu. damn wouldnt you need the gte gasket and some arp for 10psi to be safe?
@Knownworldwide10 ай бұрын
@@JZS160-NAT Nah, it will be just fine. Tuning is key. Too much timing combined with poor fuel will certainly crack a ring land. I have ran it on 10psi for maybe a week. Seems to be holding up just fine. I have it back down on 5psi right now though. Not trying to go too hard on the automatic transmission without an external bigger cooler. I finally pulled my catch can (after installing in maybe 6 months ago) and it was basically empty. Motor is doing just fine. When people try to run too much timing with bad fuel and boost. Bad things will happen haha. I am very conservative on timing as of now.
@brianbrown54311 ай бұрын
I have three project cars, two of which I use as my daily depending on running status. I have a '91 Honda EF hatch (B20 swap with B16 head for Vtec - Currently not running, trying to finish the build in memory of my son), a '96 Maxima GLE (bought new in the fall of '95. Still runs great with almost 300k miles. Planning a motor swap soon.) and a '97 Chevy S10 Pick up (4 cyl., 5 spd manual. This one is my current favorite. It has only 125k miles and runs great.). I could buy a new car, but where's the fun in that?
@Knownworldwide11 ай бұрын
Great selection of cars you have there. I love all of those although I still am partial to the previous generation Maxima just slightly. Pretty cool that they were available with standard transmissions too! That hatch I bet is quick! I still haven’t found cam caps or rails for the GSR head I have for my EF sedan. I need VTEC haha! I would want also a S10 any of them, cool to lower them IMO. Yeah new cars just don’t do it for me. No character, they all look the same, they are grossly overpriced, Pretty numb driving feeling. Thanks for being a long time subscriber and supporting the channel!
@brianbrown54311 ай бұрын
@@Knownworldwide You're right about the zero feeling in the drive. My wife's Rogue has drive by wire and it's horrible. It's so bad that it's very hard to steer in a straight line - constant left and right drift requiring constant steering corrections. I hate it.

I remember watching a video of yours on the 240sx. Nice swap and nice work for sure! I need to knock the dust off my S13 finally haha. It’s been stock motor wise for so long! Your son should be able to gain good power using the non-VVTi SC engine for sure! Thanks for your continued support!
