I was 40wks pregnant when my daddy died. I had to plan and pay(10k+) for his entire funeral by myself within 2 days. My uncle had the audacity to ask me to tip the preacher man $50 after the funeral (keep in mind this wasn't even a real preacher anymore, he had been let go from the congregation for being an alcoholic.. but dads fam loved him.🙄) We live in Arkansas if that tells y'all anything..Anyways needless to say, I told my Uncle to kiss my ass and wrote off the rest of my dad's family that day. My baby girl was born less than 24 hrs after i buried my daddy.. he was so close to getting to meet her but I like to think their souls met in passing when he left and she arrived. Wishing now id went with Holy Moly Rolly Polly Church.. could've saved thousands! (And had a better preacher 😉)

So sorry you went through that mess. Reminds me of my dad's side of the family (big time rural VA baptists). It felt like every funeral was a huge mess: cursing, family traumas coming out, usually money fights. Your uncle is a real piece of work trying to make a pregnant woman TIP a effy preacher after paying the whole funeral. So glad your pregnancy turned out well w/all the stress! I'm sure your daddy was making sure of it up in heaven🙏
