I'm SO here for this 😁 I was burned by Mary Kay as well! I'm so anti mlm now I'll straight up block someone that tries any of that crap with me lol. My MK director convinced me they had a greater cause in their little branch of MK. They also "volunteered" for local modeling events for boutique runways shows, spent time with kids, Yada Yada. I was pumped about that part so I joined. My director then convinced me I'll need a "store" because someone will always purchase a product at these volunteer events if you do an awesome job with their makeup. Yep, out $1,000s. I had that product sitting in my basement new in box for over a decade. It was so liberating to chuck the entire product and MK starter bag in the trash when I just sold my house. It's astounding when mlms pry on women that are college age. They know we're naive. It makes me want to throw up. Kiki Chanel has some super entertaining anti mlm videos. You should check some of those out!!! These MLMs are wayyyyy deeper than you probably even imagine!

I did Nuskin for 3 years. Quit my full time job aswell at 19y/o. Had I not I would have bought my own appartment so early 😭 Now I’m 27 and finally have a fulltime job again. No One wants to hire Someone that quit their job without another Job set up. Quit just to quit. 😭 During nuskin I never made money, just spent all of the money I had left after quitting my job but I did Meet a lot of good people and now have friends all over sweden and so thankfull for that but yeah I wish I would have been smarter and listened to my family.
