Getting that bed in it's final place is a great milestone! Impressed with your thoroughness tending to all the details.

SO much work finally paying off! Great to see you guys get this in even if it was nerve racking watching you get it into place with the epoxy slowly setting.

Really nice! Was wondering if you had used nylon lock nuts .... then you answered that later on! Should be rock solid.

is there any point in adding sound deadening material to the hull before installing the modules?
@boatholic44584 жыл бұрын
Our plan is to pout two part closed cell flotation foam. This should add strength and sound deadening at the same time 👍

Is it a camera thing? Looks like the starboard window, looks higher than the port side window. from the master bed liner. can you see it? hope it's just the way your camera is sitting. Great work, glad you guys are back at it.

I think its a camera thing, but we will double check ! Thanks 👍

I think it looks odd because the port window light is installed but the starboard one isn't.. hopefully, fingers crossed

Whilst you are doing a terrific job, as ex sealine / Sunseeker boat builder I would of got a sack by now. That pod moulding would of be fitted in a half an hour even without measuring it as it should self aline. We used a secret bonding paste, that is stronger than the your bolts you have and would of been a lot easier and cheaper than epoxy , with very little prep needed particularly if peel ply was used on the contact points around the moulding But great to see the particular sealine making great progress. But you are making extra hard work at times . It can be frustrating to watch. Lol. But Great video , great effort .

@@stephenpike9939 We are definitely only enthusiastic amateurs ! We did discuss the secret bonding sauce that was being used by the boat builders, but this doesn't seem to be widely available. Appreciate the support 👍

I seem to be missing something here. A lot of molding to make the bunk unit but that style lost a lot of breadth and seems to have turned space enough for a double V bunk into a short single?? Space is always at a premium on any vessel this seems to waste quite a bit? Well built though for sure.

This bed module is a double V berth taken from the factory plug 👍
