I also think if it's fielded cleanly you get the pitch back too (i.e. an out in the Warehouse rules). Definitely should encourage pitch selectivity. I also think the pitch count might need to be a touch higher. you can get through 30 pitches remarkably fast if the batter makes literally any contact.

You should do a similar tic tac toe game, but instead of the ball getting stuck to a sticky sheet, Jack should try to break panes of glass, and Zo has to bat barefooted.

Couple possible rule additions because this is really great!! 1. If Jack sticks a ball it doesn’t count as a pitch. 2. If Zo gets out by catch or groundout, Jack gets to place a ball

Start at 20 instead of 30, but every swing and miss gives the pitcher an extra throw. Swing and miss on a ball that sticks in the zone could be 2 extra throws to combat the risk of doubles/HRs taking 2+ away

I personally would have added a rule that every strike that didn't mark the board (swing and miss or pipe) would give a pitch back, that way the batter isn't swinging at every pitch.

A swing and a miss should not take a ball away so if your at 28 and u swing and miss it’s still 28 and if the last one gets on the strike zone the pitcher should be able to keep going until he either pitches and the batter dosen’t swing or if the ball is pit into fair territory

So here is something you need to add to the rules. The batter barely has a disadvantage. So that being sad The rules should be if the batter it's a foul ball it should add a pitch to the pitch count. And if the pitcher catches a hit ball it should add two pitches to the pitch count. Think about it
