So far ive seen that Ghostface has potential to be quite high. From options, frame data and button quality he has it all. Match1: The crawl king back at it this time with Ghostface he dominates as expected. Match2: Aif on team ghostface still looks incredible with the pick. Hazim needs to polish these combos but he is on the right track and he is always a treat to watch. Match3: Social the ghostface tour winner vs rinzler. Just cause its Rinzler this one is much harder but social still takes it. Social and Roethor look like they found new mains so comfortable they are with Ghostface. Match4: I like the scorpion pick and those restance combos were fire. R1ps brother stop roasting sub zero he does arguably more damage than ghostface especially with certain cameos, ghostface just used 3 bars for a 400 combo XD. Match5: Just nasty with the 500 bomb and then the frost kameo sheesh was that amazing or what? Man sure has kameo depth and with new smoke tools now he will be stronger than ever. Silence didnt use it much but i like sareena (plus i love her new skin) as a cameo for ghostface cause 1) In command grabs she can steal much bar 2) She gives a ranged option 3) She adds more dmg to ghostface. Final score 4-1 for ghostface amazing performance for our team scream.

He has the best combos and cancels but his defense was really lacking as silence was able to occasionally do good damage to him purely by mashing and sometimes using his amor attack.

@ 44:07 this is the usual Sereena meter drain (fire glow) The green glow from earlier in the set was the meter gain and *I thought it was health Regen?* Wrong. No health regen ---> it definitely has a damage buff according to the patch notes.

Just found out Ghostface can tank a fatal blow if he's swapped to Kira or Kobra. You only take the damage that the initial fatal blow hit does and not the 35%. Furthermore, he can punish most fatal blows when he swaps back. It's so unbelievably broken

i really think the lack of combo routes and pressure knowledge from the DLC players is always outweighed by the lack of matchup knowledge from “the world” players in these tourneys. i think its harder to play AGAINST a new character than it is to necessarily play with one

4:34 sorry Fabz, you gotta main the character to elder god to speak on sub. The character looks good vs people who don’t que into him a lot , but for everyone who plays him. Just block low, and his overhead is easy to react to. No hit confirm besides vapors that scale horribly or spending kameo meter, he got a cosmetic buff not a real buff . They haven’t even fixed his corner glitch

Sub is definitely top 15 now. He just has an odd playstyle which makes his potential harder to see. And yes, mained him since the beta, elder god, all that.

@@oldmanfgc @ Cyrax, sektor, noob , homelander, Havik, ashrah, smoke, scorpion, Ghostface, shao, cage, reiko, ermac, peacemaker, takeda, quan, kenshi, raiden are all indisputably better than him and some of these aren’t even top tier. So idk where top 15 comes from 💀 and that’s not mentioning the mash enjoyers like Lao, Kang, Sindel and the future Conan and T-1000 that will undoubtedly be better than him as well. Bro ain’t terrible but other characters have so much more than him.

@@Fabzz it’s honestly bc we don’t need much to actually make it to top 15 or even 10. All we need is that ice ball to be faster, the corner glitch to be fixed and better frame data since we have no plus frames on our main combo starter or the clone defense. They don’t even have to give us any new moves or kameos like scorpion, a simple fix on his existing things and we’ll be set.

@@TheMadara Many of the characters you list actually aren't better than Sub when you consider Sub's MU chart. He beats or goes even against most of the cast now and has winning MUs against some of the current top tiers like Havik and Nitara. I've got some other videos to make before I get to ones about MUs, but when I do, I'll explain in each why Sub currently does so well.

My 222 mavado combo 222 db3 up kameo, 221+3, j22, b3 db3 mb, 22 or 44 (from here, do yur prefered plus frame restand. 22 is plus 21, ill do for dragon enforcer. 44 df2 is plus 21, dashin guarentees a b2 overhead and that they cant even jump out). Combo is to show that you can squeeze in a db3 between 222 and mavodo up kameo for extra dami

too early to say. He's def a strong character but looks like the matchup chart is not good enough to use the word "broken". (according to our pro players)
