its actually "alone in our secret, together we sigh for one smiling day, to be free to kiss in the sunlight if you take a breathe after "together we sigh" then it will be a different meaning. I'm sure R&H had it intended for there to be no break in between sigh and for. "together we sigh for one smiling day" breathe "to be free"

redtulips lol and where did YOU read that he is gay? this is completely false. He was married for 4 years and is now divorced. He is Greek and he has given many interviews in Greek TV and magazines where in some he has mentioned that his partner was pregnant but she had a miscarriage, that was in 2012. Below is just one of many articles by the Greek press, many years ago I had read that he was living with his then girlfriend, and the same thing about a miscarriage I heard him say in an interview for a Greek TV channel. I have read elsewhere that DM was his wife, not in the same articles, so I cannot cross-reference that. However, it's certain that he had a partner (whoever that was) and was trying to start a family, it's been said by him in his interviews and written many times in the Greek press. Then I was reading an article about Mr. Frangoulis and the author stated that Mario had a male partner in NYC. Once again, I apologize profusely.

redtulips LOL hi there, no need to apologize. After all it is what each has read. Neither of us knows Marios Fragkoulis personally, so I guess neither of us can be 100% sure. Who knows really?? you read one thing, I've read another. However, based on what he'd said and the articles that were published mentioning his partner was pregnant at some point, I'd say it's unlikely he's gay. But, yes, like you I can't cross-reference that his wife/partner was D.Myers, so it could've been a rumor......Don't feel bad, we're just talking, and as I said the only people who can be certain are those who know him personally. But what I've read/heard is that he was definitely in a relationship (with a woman) but not anymore, and they were trying for a baby but that didn't happen in the end.

Sloppy and not at all OK for a singer of his caliber to blow 2 lines of lyrics. He has sung this song a million times. Deborah is a delight, a pro; u never saw it cross her face that any error had been made by him, although I'm sure she was thinking, "What?" Mario fans, hold him to the highest standards, which is is truly capable of. (Other than lyric errors, beautifully sung.)
