You know what... I do have one of those, and mine don't suffer for that negative things that You said about yours. The only thing I can complain about, is that I've got bigger hands and I was cut couple of times by the dull side of the blade, during opening. That area under mine thumb got in the way of the opening blade

Really glad you included the part at 7:50 I can definitely feel the difference on mine as well ! Happy with the purchase nice quality knife! There was a guy selling carbon fiber ones on EBay for $156, I offered $126 and he took it! Definitely the best edc knife I own now thing disappears in my pocket and blade is razed sharp 😅 (mine does not have any detent lash right out of the box)

Kitefin is a sweet knife, especially the marbled carbon fiber one. I wish it had the blade jimping like the Civivi Baklash.

I had the detent lash on my Kitefin. It kept getting worse more I used the knife so I finally decided to send it back for repair. It had a few other issues I wanted them to address as well. Although they were able to get rid of the lash somewhat they totally messed up the knife in a lot of other ways. They had made the detent too loose, to the point where you had to put hardly any pressure on the flipper tab for it to disengage. I thought maybe they had widened the detent hole so the detent ball sat more snugly inside it and perhaps that was the reason for the loose detent, however they informed me that they had not performed that particular repair. They had only worked on the position of the back scale and the lock bar. Also, the blade wasn't centered anymore. They said they had centered it before shipping it out but the titanium probably didn't hold its shape after the repair. They wanted me to send the knife back but I just didn't want to go through the hassle anymore.

This knife is quite possibly my favorite knife in my collection. It's quality and fit and finish are only matched by my sebenza. The satin finish and the action of this knife make it a tactile experience and I always find myself fidgeting with it. I can't believe that it is made in China.

@@adamjohnsonmusicvideos I've got the blue with the gold stripe. The finish on the blue titanium is kind of "satiny" feeling and isn't textured for grip but it's not slippery in any way. But so far I haven't used it wet yet. It's slim size has me kinda spoiled now and I haven't felt like carrying any of my bigger, heavier knives lately.

This was my first We Knife, and for a folder it's ok. I was and I am a bit disappointed. It is a very good slicer, but it is sooooo light - weight wise. I mean to say that I don't know that I have a knife in my pocket. And prior to buying this knife, I purchased an Alex Steingraber Shark for about the same money. His Sharks run 8-10 bte, full flat grind. Slicer, extroginary! Its a fixed blade that easily fits in my front pockets of my cargo shorts, not the figit factor but cutter extrodinary. And the heat treat and steel he offers its highly exceptional!

Yeah i get that and when i carry a large knife for a week this knife feels not just small but to small but it goes viice versa also, if i carry a small knife for a week, we knives makes some fantastic large knives but they do get expensive

@@NeevesKnives I was surprised by how light the knife was! I have alot of Reates, so it not an anti Chinese bias. I can say they are very well built, and a better slicer than a pm2. So whats a good We knife thats bigger and heavier? There is one that does interest me me but the model number escapes me?

@@timothybecker8605 You're looking for the Yucha, if you can find one in stock somewhere. Being a model they discontinued this year, it's much cheaper than it was a year ago, it's a big greasy beauty, and while it isn't going to outslice your Shark it's got a big cutty blade.

@@zeppie3330 if you have detent lash you can send it in and they can fix it, after a long time it can get worse because it raddles around in the hole always beating around

Its very light, and very strong, shatter and shock proof, meaning it can take impact, and looks very nice, it can take color and be milled to fit very well, but its strength to weight ratio is very very high, that is why sports cars use it like Ferrari and Lamborghini, Porsche
