"The hardest one is Australian, because we only say appropriate things" absolutely killed me, it deserved a way bigger laugh.

What is the deal with the Sydney crowd….

They're woke as hell. He needs an accent as he said in his bit. At least it isn't Melbourne.

Sus the Sydney Swan supporters and which flags they wave.. and that gives you enough of what Sydney delivers hahaha

@@MrBobenfreshI was at the melbs show, in my opinion there were bigger laughs than this. It wasn’t a woke audience.

Maybe the crowd isn’t mic’ed well, but the room sounds super flat considering how funny James is, and that it’s a comedy festival, which typically would have a good audience…

Australia sucks, from lockdowns to cowed people afraid to have fun at a comedy show. I'll marry you James, if you'd like American citizenship.

You'd be surprised how many heroin "connoiseurs" there are out there. The nature of the addiction and high lends itself to the sort of ritual and patient appreciation you'd associate with a wine or coffee enthusiast. Some heroin is obviously better than other heroin, there's even a certain amount of room for variance in taste and preference, and there are certainly junkies out there with their special personal gear (people don't reuse syringes or spoons anymore but stuff like a dedicated tourniquet, leather carrying case to keep their stuff in, etc) and their particulat way of fixing that gets the most out of the high. If you ever happen to meet a heroin junkie - get him talking about his ritual. He's gonna have an opinion about the most refined and delicious way to consume that drug. I really do miss it sometimes. It's very much the devil and so so so bad for individuals and society - but it's really a shame that fentanyl is such a thing now. Good pure heroin had some romance to it, you could convince yourself you were a discerning drug addict with elevated taste. In a way, you were. But that fetty shit is exactly and only the way straight people think of junkiedom - gross, suffering, mindless numb addiction for addiction's sake.
