A question on Arvie. Can you have it search specific spots within a park? WI state park system asks how long the RV is but doesn’t narrow the site options by length. Is there a way to either eliminate sites that I know won’t work or request sites that I know do work? I hope that makes sense

Crazy - me and the hubby are watching your video. We had literally just said camping isn't the same without the 2 grand babies going. They are all grown up now. Believe it or not they camped with us until one was 21 and the other was 23. Like you said - after it's over its just the memories. So be sure to eat up every second with them ❤

O'Leno State Park where the Santa Fe River disappears underground and reappears three miles away . Beautiful heavily wooded park with all kinds of trails . Ichetucknee State Park , one of the most beautiful spring runs in state of Florida . If that is not enough , the Suwannee River Stare Park a short distance away . All iconic Florida , just highlights

The TSD card allows us to use the truck pump. This is so much better than the automobile pump with all diesel big rigs or towing. This makes the card invaluable when filling. As far as the price, it saves money, but when not towing there are more options available and with cash back from the credit card sometimes just as cheap or cheaper.

@@GratefulGlamperThanks for sharing, and letting us all in on it. One of our favorite camping memories with our 4 kids (14-4y/o) … we had a 36’ TT then. Hubby had to get back to work when we drove from s/e NM to Bay area CA, so the kids & I spent 6 weeks all over Northern CA. (In 2000) We met along the way; 1) A man who lived through Nazi Germany during WW2, and how he (11-13y/o) helped his uncle with the underground! He helped save Americans, English & Jews by the hundreds! 2) and 1 man who was Navy in Pearl Harbor. The Japanese Zeros flew right over his hut, since he was at the top of the mountain he was the first one to see them! He took over a stray Jeep and rescued the injured all during the attack! He and many others, lived on the beach for two weeks thinking the Japanese were coming back! Both men sat down with our kids & I, telling us a lot of stories and their life. Homeschooling & traveling bring history to life! We have had lots of adventures & mis-adventures since starting RV’ing in ‘92…and we continue to do so!!

Then the hot water didn't ignite having to call the tech that was in the park. Charged me $150 for the call and another $50 to clean cobwebs from the propane tube and another $10 for the fuse that blew. I now take that tube apart every time before starting. In 1974 Dad bought a used Fan trailer that had a freezer fire. It had the kitchen in the middle with the table in front. The bunks were next and then the bathroom. Our first camping trip we went to the Chesapeake Bay somewhere in VA. My sister who was 7 and I was 10 were sent with Dad to go fishing. It was Thanksgiving 1974 and my Mom made an entire turkey dinner in that trailer. Fast forward 50 years and Mom and Dad and my sister have all passed but the memories I pass on to the next two generations are priceless. The kids cannot believe all the mishaps along the way. (Like replacing 3 tires on the truck and 3 on the trailer....in within 2 days. Or going to Niagra Falls, we stayed there when I was a teen. Fast forward 30 years, we go back to the same campground. My dad's truck on both trips lost the water pump. Two different trucks, 30 years apart and the guy at the garage remembered my Dad! Or one last one he had a trailer where the lights kept grounding out and then he lost the alternator in his truck. Sailed right through a red light-thank goodness he was clear-and into a truck stop. My sister and I were following in my truck and were astonished he did. He drove truck his entire career and we could not understand why he would have done that! Oh the stories were great conversations at the Holiday dinners. Especially now there is a new generation to teach about camping. And stories to witness. Love your channel and my Dad would have as well. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

There was a beautiful elevated walk way that you could walk down to the river on an more. Table scraps are better for your dog than quote "dog food". I make all my own dog food for my baby. Main recipe is 1 pound of ground turkey and 1 12 oz. bag of frozen peas & carrots. Brown the ground turkey, mix in peas & carrots then divide into containers and serve. My baby is a small Shorkie and so we get 6 - 8 meals from this recipe. Cost is approximately 20 cents per oz. vs. $1.45 per oz. of Cesar Simply Crafted Chicken, Carrots & Green Beans Limited-Ingredient Wet Dog. Of course, this is my opinion 😊

Don't worry 'bout the big guys. "Brain eating bacteria" can flourish unseen in warm fresh water, and migrate up through the eye sockets and nasal passages to attack the brsin. Unless you catch this very quickly, it actually crosses into the brain and kills you. Yes, this ha happened last year in Florida. They're spreading as the temperatures go up.
