Anyone else wondering if the deer have stomach aches? 🥴 (The overly cautious way the first deer approached the "gift" of these wonderful pears made me wonder if it was familiar with baiting?)

Great observation! The drastic temperature change is quite common for us here in Minnesota in the winter months! Good thing the wildlife are equipped with nice warm winter fur! Deer usually find thick covering out of the wind and they "bed up" and curl up in a ball and lay down.

Great episode, I enjoyed seeing the deer getting the energy boost they must have gotten from the sweet pears. Those Squirrel's carry off slices reminded me of I have to deal with here with when they bury walnuts and pecans in my area. I have to cut down so many sprouting trees every year that it is crazy! Hopefully up there they are smart enough to find their cache and eat it later.

Here’s a Deer fact. Deer see yellow much better than red , if you put a pile of red apples 🍎 next to a pile of yellow /green apples or similar fruit in the woods , they will eat most if not all the yellow/green apples 🍏/ fruit first ! They can also see Blue and Green and White better than Red , red looks dark almost black to them . Deer find the red apples 🍎 by smell rather than sight, studies have shows.
