When it was announced that these two were going to do a movie together, I was so excited that I wanted to do something with this energy. So I sat down and carved out a plot around the title that I enjoyed and was able to tell with the material I had on hand. This was back when we barely knew what the movie was going to be about.
The idea behind it was that they find each other in several timelines and universes. Sometimes they remember each other, sometimes they don't. But always they feel drawn to each other and don't know why. And it always ends the same.
Orginally, it wasn't supposed to be a Spider-Man/Black Widow story, but when I saw this amazing gif set on tumblr, I couldn't resist to include it: www.tumblr.com... Those scenes are totally ripped off this creator [crackshipandcrap]! Also, Yelena's arc in Hawkeye was able to bring much more depth into the story. They lived so many lives together and not all of them were good. Does she remember him in this timeline? Does she not? Who's to say. I hope you enjoy.
