I love how when Duck looks up before the Beast kills him, he just sees his best friend, but he knows it isn't his best friend. It almost looks like Oliver just wants to say "I'm sorry, Duck." Imagine if they find a way to bring Oliver back, and he's just overcome with grief over killing not just his best friend, but so many others, too.

This would seem kinda sad and scary at the same time since Duck has to witness his friend for alot of years as "The Beast" killing their friends and disguising itself using what's left of the original Oliver which was his concerned face. Duck seemed to see through that face of his since "Oliver" didn't talk or respond or look in any direction, just staring straight at him and the other thing that made him know that he was The Beast are the remains of Arry and Bert which he most likely witnessed their deaths. Duck never wanted this to happen nor do the other engines but P.T Boomer and his men decided to do it which lead to all this.

This is fantastic work here. The effects and the lighting are great, the song here sounded sad and haunting here, and the atmosphere really fits on what's happening here. And Duck seeing the Beast not as what they are, but who it was originally. I kinda was expecting some kind of jump scare or reveal on the beast's "face" here, but it's ok. I think I know how Duck was killed. In the part about Percy crashing it's said that the beast killed all the passengers using some kind of Tendril. This is oddly sad if you think about it- If the lore takes place in the 70’s, then that means the song would likely have been known by the engines for a good while. Duck and Oliver, being close friends, would’ve likely sung this to one another at times- Maybe Duck could’ve used the song as some sort of anxiety cope? And Oliver being The Beast could give Duck the feeling that: ‘Maybe he’s still there somewhere’ and try to sing it through the fear to bring his friend back, however The Beast has already decided on his next victim, all Duck can do is delay the inevitable.
