Yeah from these episodes you can see shirou’s lack of value in his own life when he said “I don’t think I deserve more wishes” and it cuts to the fire. Him not enjoying magic and just stuff in general shows how due to his trauma it’s hard for him to truly enjoy things and the only things he wants are things others told him to do or become like a hero of justice.

Yep, and then his trauma influences his response to Fuji-nee being held hostage - it's logically stupid to let Caster have the Command Spells and just hope she will be honest and release Fujimura, and it's a bad idea to stop Saber in he middle of attacking and let Caster win, but his mind has gone completely blank due to someone he cares about being in danger. In the visual novel at this scene, every time he thinks something like "Caster might kill her" the word "kill" is redacted, it triggers him so much he can't even think about the situation head on

@@mibadada In addition to what you said, Caster, here is her shadow. Rin and Saber were ready to sacrifice Taiga; Shirou acknowledged how they were strategically and logically correct, but if he loses Taiga, he won't be the same person he has been up until now. He was serious enough to consider wanting to kill Rin if anything happened to Taiga. I think the word is censored to show how he doesn't want to admit what he thought. Furthermore, he only used the command spell because Caster was about to twist Taiga's neck with her hands.

This scene is quite different from the VN. In the VN, Caster takes Taiga hostage at Shirou's house. Another thing is that Caster here is her shadow, like you saw in episode 8, so attacking her would be meaningless. Taiga is very important to Shirou; he mentions how her being around helped him recover to a certain extent from the Fuyuki fire by providing the sense of family that he lost in the fire. Rin and Saber were ready to sacrifice Taiga, and Shirou acknowledged that they had a point from a strategic point of view, but if he loses Taiga, he won't be the same person anymore. He only used the command spell because Caster was about to kill Taiga by twisting her neck, which the anime didn't show.

Kojirou with the bounded field and Caster debuffing the enemy managed to actually repel Berserker but was more of lasting long enough to get Ilya bored than being actually a true match, which is stil impressive, considering his unmodified stats are: Strength: C Endurance:E Agility: A+ Mana: E Luck: A NP: ? Even Lancer mentions that despite enjoying fights he prefers to not face Kojiro in melee combat due to his godlike swordmanship

To clarify on the command seal topic. No Saber wouldn't disappear even after all 3 seals are used. What really anchors her into this world is her contract with Shiro. Sadly the rule breaker severed the contract and generated 3 new seals on caster. The role of the command seals is only to guarantee absolute obedience of the servant. So in case of Shiro/Saber that wouldn't be a problem. The only downside would be that he couldn't summon her from afar anymore. There is actually a precedence in the series where a master used all of her command seals and still had a contract with her servant.

@@r.k845 UBW is the part of the story focusing on servants, and along with Fate makes up the "front side" of the story. HF is the "back side" of Fate, the Grand Finale, and part where the real lore, the true meaning of what the hgw actually is and the proper conclusion for the character arks for most of the characters.
