That's what happens when you fish for subs with click bait. They have 3.2M subs and in 6 hours they have 17.5K views and a little over 500 likes. Going out on a limb here but I'm guessing a lot of the subs are bots.

They're trying to scam on the wrong channel. People who take Dave's advice are not likely to fall for these get rich quick schemes. And not a lot of bots are going to post testimonials about working a side job to earn extra money to pay off debts, or common sense advice like spend less than you earn and invest in stable mutual funds with at least a ten-year profitable history. They'll have better luck finding suckers on Andrew Tate's channel and the like.

What makes you think it's a big butchering scam? There are many scam types using crypto, including fake platforms where you enrol with a small amount of money and they manipulate graphs to make it look like your money doubled in a few days and you throw loads more in. Kitboga did a comprehensive video on it recently, this call sounds far more like that, especially given his wife wanted to take lines of credit out too and was convinced.

It happens in a lot of ways. My neighbor admitted to me he had sent "a lot" of money to his fiancee in Russia. I have been trying to explain to him this is a scam, but I have to tread lightly. When I ask if he ever met her I can tell he gets very defensive. He is a grown man so not much I can do.

It's not about greed the majority of the time. These people prey on fears (claims that legal action is being taken against you, etc.) or desperation to be loved (a great many people have never felt loved from childhood onward, are unaware of the concept emotional manipulation or are simply dating and find the wrong one.) The greed is usually 100% on the side of the scammer, who doesn't care that they're potentially ruining someone's life for this income. This is their job.

I just got scammed in crypto about 3 weeks ago. same way he did. i lost 49 K. i made a police report and found the persons real name online and went to the Bank to do a Wire recall on the Funds. Still waiting to hear back.

I have been mining for about 6 months now and just about every mine, it backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . Don't listen to her, don't give up. Mining takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.

You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?
