Congratulations on your anniversary and all good advice. My husband and I have been together since 1990 and we got married in 2011. We met in 1978 and were friends and roommates for years on and off before we actually got together as a couple. It’s a wonderful life. 😊❤

Thanks to you, wonderful couple, where the respect for each other and the great love that unites you is evident. In my own small way, with my Paolo, in December we entered our 29th year, we have not yet got together civilly, in Italy it is a bit complicated, but we plan to do it soon, to guarantee the other full legal responsibility, for this which could come over the years, and be sure that our efforts are not lost among greedy relatives. They often ask us how we managed to achieve so many years together and the answer is I believe similar to yours, respect for others, preserving their uniqueness, not trying to change them, but finding a way to always meet each other. We have never "lost ourselves" in external variations, the loyalty and certainty of the two of us being the center of our story has made us meet many friends, with whom there is a fraternal relationship, which however does not go beyond fidelity. Words perhaps that younger people have difficulty understanding, the theory of having fun at all costs, then we'll see...for those who were around in the 80s/90s they formed different individuals, those who were taken by exerting charm and therefore more meetings... too often empty as well as dangerous, and those like us, after having conscientiously made our own experiences, have chosen "that person" forever, or as long as we are there... An affectionate hug to you two, a New Year it is started...let's make it magical...Paolo & Angelo from Italia...Ciao !! ♥

My husband and I were together for 53 years, unfortunately he passed in 2012 from leukemia. A year later I met Dennis, we married a year later. Dennis passed from a major stroke in 2020. I was alone again for a year, I’m watching TV one night when The phone rang, it was a gentleman calling because he liked what I was writing on Facebook, we spoke for about an hour then rang off. The next day he called again, told me he enjoyed our conversation the night before,from that day forward, we spoke every day sometime for 5 hours. Covid restricted us, I couldn’t fly to see him and he had the same problem. One day he phoned and told me he had reservations to finally out and come and see me. He arrived from Australia in October 2021 and ran down the stairs at the airport into my arms. We decided we could never be apart again, we married on January 7th 2022. My Raymond from Australia was married for 37 years and has two grown up boys.
