Please read this your dad Evan: "Mr Stewart, Sir, you remind me so much of my dad. He was a minister of the Christian church for 55+ yrs & most time spent here in NE TN for many years. He served on the mission field in Mexico in the 80's. A HUGE VOLS fan & a Titans fan. He was a devoted husband to my momma, just shy of 57yrs, a dad to 3 daughters, 1 son, 1 SIL, 1 DIL, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters & 1 great- granddaughter, when he passed away in January 2021, of a horrible, horrible brain infection that took him so much faster than his slow decline of dementia. Please continue to lead your family in the prayer at family gatherings as long as you can. I miss my dad's prayers over all of us. He was at EVERY surgery I had, sometimes pushing his way into the surgeons office or surgery areas to make sure he was able to pray over the surgeon. He never missed a beat. I didn't realize how unsafe this world felt until my dad was gone & his prayers, alone, over me & my family were gone. Everytime I see you pray or I see Evan pray over his family, I know you have raised your children up in The Lord & passed on to them all understanding. I don't know what made me do it but the last couple times my dad was able to be at our family gatherings, (due to COVID & lockdown) I recorded him praying, although his voice was weak & shaky, when I listen to it now I realize just how loud & strong it truly was!! Thank you for sharing your family, thank you for sharing your vulnerability, thank you for sharing your love, THANK YOU for sharing your belief in God & His LOVE that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.....together, that's my favorite part 😊" I hope your dad gets this. What an amazing day you guys had... so sweet. Please always be mindful and grateful of how incredibly lucky you guys are. Not your fame and income, but the love in your lives. I, and I'm sure lots of others came from a terrible family (I have also lost the very few people that I did have that were my life, my daughter and my husband) and we have no one to spend holidays with. No parents, no siblings, no grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins... literally no one. It's so special to share yours with you. May God continue to bless you and keep your family safe.

Every time I did the Prayer for our Holiday meals I always teared up because we have lost so many of our family members. So one of my grandsons is a minister so he does the prayers. Praise the Lord!!

That was absolutely adorable! Zade is coming along with his speech, it will be amazing when it just comes out one day, he is adorable! We have done lists for each other ever since we were little and our parents gave us money to buy for each other. We still do it to this day. My sister only gave me 3 ideas but the brother that I still buy for gave me 20 things!! It does make it easier and why get things that will go in the garage sale by Spring! I would rather give gifts they really like and want. We don't have to pick from the list but we all do. I love watching you and seeing your family and your parents! Oh Carlin your husband said u don't cook or participate for turkey dinner. I had sister in laws for years that didn't help. My mom and I said enough was enough. Finally we told them they do all the dishes and put the leftovers away. It was great. And the menfolk made coffee and served dessert to all the women. Holidays were much easier then. 😊

Personally I don't like to cook either. When we have big gatherings at our house everyone knows it's going to be either pot-luck or we'll be ordering food in. I do cook for my own family, but I hate doing it and take zero pleasure in it. HOWEVER when it comes to holiday dinners at other people's houses I help out in other ways. That means bringing a store bought appetizer (or two) and I always do set up and clean up. I would never dream of resting on my laurels while I was at a family member or friend's house expecting them to serve me hand and foot.

I agree with Evan about Black Friday. It has changed. One year we were 3rd in line so we missed the gift cards for Wal-Mart for 1st and 2nd place. Evan take some warm water and mix a drop or two of baby shampoo with a q-tip and then rub the q-tip on the lids of your eye if there is a stye. It will help clear it up. I promise it works!

Next time you get a stye by your eye, boil up a teabag and take that teabag and put it right on the eye with the stye right on the sty and leave it there until it’s cold that will help to reduce the sty and you can repeat that if you need to until it’s gone, but it will make it go away fastersometimes in the very first day if you catch it early

How old is Zade now? I have a grandson that had speech trouble & my daughter had him see a speech therapist. It has made all the difference. I would suggest if you haven’t already done this with Zade, that you do. It will truly help him a lot.
