My husband and I travel several times a year at least 5 hour trip. We make lots of stops. We take our time and enjoy the drive. We are older so we have to stop more often lol. Love your family.

When I was growing up my dad would drive after midnight (cooler temps)and only stop to get gas and the bathroom run. We took homemade sandwiches and snacks. I enjoyed that kind of traveling. I’ve pretty much taken up the same habit..driving until reaching the destination, stopping only for gas. I’m so glad you were able to spend extra time with Mama Jane and Papa Bill before the rest of the family arrived. They’re the sweetest grandparents ever. ❤️✝️🎄🎅
