What you are doing is not boring and I think you are both very willing to learn (as we all are) do not forget a lot of us have never done this before either. This online community is what I love and the fact that there are experienced people and they are willing to share their knowledge and that you asked the advice and took it. I am a mechanic own a auto repair buisness you just need to clean the carb make sure your float and needle are working properly not gummed up with bad fuel. Usually you can just pull them clean them. Also use a bread tie and peel the plastic off and run it through the jets make sure there flowing. I use a can of carb cleaner and they usually provide a plastic straw that you can blow through all the jets and make sure they aren’t plugged up. But I would verify by spraying carb cleaner directly into the intake to see if it is a fuel issue
@CampOutWest3 ай бұрын
Thanks, sounds like a plan, bread tie is a great idea. The engine fires up and runs with no bogging for ten seconds then dies, i need to put new oil in it and check the level, was reading last night that it has a low oil sensor so could even be that, didn't pull it over too many times as don't want to do any damage before i have time for a proper once over.Cheers

Love your videos. Been watching since the start. Just noticed on your table saw, that you have the wrong blade for the cut you want to make. If you fit a ripping blade to the table saw, you'll find the cuts much easier and you won't have to push the material so hard. The blade you have on at the moment, has 80-100 teeth, which is for fine cuts. The reason you're pushing so hard, is that the gullets (space between the teeth) are too small and struggle to remove the waste. The bigger the gullets, the easier to remove waste and easier to push the material through. Hope this helps. Anyway, as I said, loving the videos and what you are accomplishing, you should be very proud of yourselves. Cheers, Chris.

The key to ventilation is controlled ventilation by way of window and mechanical exhaust fans -- the way to keep the heat inside in winter is to have as few gaps and drafts in your house as possible. Purposefully leaving air gaps in your house in a new build seems wrong.
