I'm an escape room designer with really, really high standards in games. I think you guys did good. It did feel like it had a "This is our first escape room" vibe, which is perfectly fine. I would love to see you make more. The puzzles were all pretty basic, but all made thematic sense, which is a big positive in my book 👍 (But I would have preferred the grabpack hands were connected with a cable that then lit up when the power was turned on) A few tips: - If you're going to have multiple of the same lock (e.g. 4x number locks), make it really obvious which one the clue is for. - Be careful with overdoing hidden objects. When a player stumbles into one early, it can break the sequence of the game. - Puzzles that require teamwork are real delights (Like the grabpack puzzle), they allow both players to get involved in a solve.

Amazing tips, thank you! Yeah we aimed for puzzles that would make sense to everyone including younger people as they watched so kept them relatively basic. Also wanted all the puzzles to be visual so they’d be fun to actually watch someone do as opposed to stand there and think in your head. Huge respect for what you do, it’s hard!

lol I’m dreading tomorrow 😭😭😭. PPT is mid at best, and I might watch a few play throughs just for the sake of it. I just a have a friend who’s a PPT geek and I know they’ll be the single most annoying person on the planet for the next 4 months. To be fair, I’m a little biased since I’m a Bendy Fan. Chapter 1 of PPT and BATIM are basically the same thing, Chapter 2 of BATIM is basically PPT Chapter 3 (player spends game with a cultist stalking them), and Chapter 2 of PPT is basically BATIM Chapter 3 (player spends the game doing the bidding of a crazy woman in a basement…) I also just hate the game is marketed towards children. For those of you who think PPT is ok for kids to play, I got four words for you, The Hour of Joy 😑 No hate to PPT fans, btw.

I wrote out the alphabet normally, then underneath each letter starting at k, I wrote the alphabet again. K=A, L=B, M=C, and so on and so forth. Then use the decoded alphabet to decipher the message under the founder's portrait. Hope this explains it well.
