What happened to DOGDAY?!
Dogday is one of the Smiling Critters from Poppy Playtime Chapter 3: Deep Sleep (created by Mob Entertainment). He’s a giant toy dog who was captured by Catnap and imprisoned in a jail cell… and his legs were tragically ripped off. His design and scene in the game is pretty creepy and insane, so after making our DIY animatronic Catnap, we knew a hanging Dog Day animatronic had to be next.
We started by making some fake walls in the style of theatrical flats to act as his jail cell. His frame was made of steel and powered by pneumatics, thanks to the help of Hallucinations Creations who make amazing pneumatic animatronic mechs for the haunted house industry. We used wire, duct tape, and foam to make the shape of his body and covered the whole thing in shaggy fur. His head was custom 3D modeled and 3D printed. The whole thing was animated with a prop controller from Purgatory Props.
We love how our real life DogDay turned out! He’s an awesome pneumatic prop and he's going to make the perfect companion to our growing collection of custom Halloween animatronics like our Catnap, Huggy Wuggy and Springtrap animatronics. 2:50 I just stumbled upon this channel while checking up on some other game-loving creators, and this is the moment I decided to subscribe; taking apart old things and using them to make new things / affect upgrades on other items is a skill I learned young because I just... didn't like the stuff being sold. None of it was *me.* but people would *give* me stuff, and if it wasn't 'me' I would either take it apart or modify it with other collected bits until it was. Love upcycling and reuse in construction AND creative works!

Died they never ever he always likes to sleep in the dark but in the sunny, he never goes to sleep. Only cat nap cat up only stay is asleep in the sunny day but when it’s dark, that’s when he doesn’t want any sleep.

I absolutely love this! he's adorably fluffy and murderous looking! I noticed that the fabric on the hands got scrunched around the fingers and in between them, I recommend cutting notches in the seem allowance after sewing, that should stop the wrinkles and bunching. Hope this helps! :D
