There is already a free stop motion addon called stopmo and it works like a charm

True! Stop-Mo is a great addon and we're huge fans of Southern Shotty. However, our add-on offers features not found in Stop-Mo, like multiple step ranges, object syncing, support for lights, curves, and shape-keys, and f-curve level control. If you don't need those things, Stop-Mo is great!

any ideas on getting that "stretchy look" i want to squash and stretch, and maybe sculpt my meshes for individual keyframes. I have looked into these Addons so far: Keymesh, Step Motion

Hmmm, well our add-on also works on shape keys! I'd recommend creating shape keys for the points in your animation where you want to emphasize squash and stretch, and then using STOP-IFY to apply the stop motion effect. It'll automatically apply and sync any shapekey animations on your mesh with its other actions. Step Motion and Keymesh are also great! Though they are untested in terms of compatibility.

@Shellnanigans as far as creating custom sculpts on individual frames, I don't believe our addon will help with that. From what I understand, Keymesh would be the go-to here.
