You should use the deck, you built and pull it out of the water and use it for a deck to keep the control box, the panels, and maybe batteries on It. then it would be away from the pond (quiet ) and run the air hose underground to the fountain and diffuse that way your pontoon deck can float independently without being attached to the diffuser or fountain. Then you’ll have a little deck where you can keep the control board, the panels and in the future you can add batteries and outlets and you will have a little power station and you’ll have longer daylight if you build it further away from the pond where the sun stayed longer. Then you Can attach a shed to it for storage. Then you will have storage shed with deck and power station. Hope this makes sense. Love the videos.

Have you ever thought about bringing in some dry red clay to dumparound the shallows and bottom of your pond? Theres a way to do it without hurting the fish amd it helps your pond RETAIN MORE WATER❤ Get you 1 more of the Aeration bubblers and get you some vegitatuon in the shallows for oxygenation and toxin filtration ❤

For those that didn’t understand, if you just turn the aerator on and throw it in there, leaving it on then it would kill all of the fish because they’ve already adapted to the amount of oxygen that they’ve already been given, for instance, when they are out of the water and they die because of too much oxygen

Loved the video, I`ve been watching a while and like what I see. You should set up some car batteries to your solar panels so they can recharge during the day and run your pumps at night. Put the batteries in a large cooler and drill a few vent holes to get rid of any hydrogen gas from building up then you could run the pumps 24/7. Peace and brother love to you and all.

So the issue is, that as we all learned in school, plants breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen when they make food. So during the day your microscopic plants and plankton produce oxygen, its during the night that you really need the aerator and need that for those warm summer nights because your plants arent making any oxygen, they need light to make oxygen. I would get a big ol battery for it so it runs during the night

You need to build a big duck house on the pontoon for the ducks and put in a ramp so they can get on it easy.And make sure you feed them on the pontoon so they know to go to it

Make sure the aerator doesn't reach bottom, or it could stir up sediment and put it in the water column. 6 or so feet under water surface should be good enough for the oxygen levels and fish health. looks good tho. the fountain should help cool the water in hot season. Great choice.

If you have to slowly add the oxygen to a certain point for the fish not to get shocked, then how can any fish you add to the pond, adjust to that level of oxygen? Will you slowly acclimate them? Instead of painting your traps, you can dye them with walnut shells. Just put a bunch of walnuts (with the hard shells or you can take out the nuts and just use the shells) in a bucket, tub, or barrel of water and throw your traps in. Let them set in there for at least a week. They will be black and you don’t have the paint smell on them.

hey kg this is a great video but i suggest that you slowly introduce the aerator slowly to the pond, it can cause fish kill. it could mixed up muck from the bottom and turn the ph of the water bad or it can mess with the water temperature at the bottom of the pond resulting in fish death. it could be fine but i just wanna comment just incase somethingdoes happen
