Just farm under tower, wither if he pulls you in and once you got enough stacks and ult wait for him to waste his q on the wave. Also I start cloth armour and 4 pots to help with early sustain seeing as your passive doesn't heal much early game cause you're doing no damage

You suck if you don't think. You have one main, right? So just analyze matchups nonstop and try to figure out how to fully counter you own champion. Based on that, if you find that matchup, analyze that replay and see which mistakes did you do, and which mistakes did your opponent do, and just like that you've become a game plan factory. You'll identify mistakes if you know which game plan did you have to follow, and which game plan did your opponent have to follow. There's a special case for toplane though: wave management and champion knowledge > everything else in the laning phase.

@@benkoskinen3871 Normals are good for mastering your champion. Laning phase is a bit harder since no one takes normals seriously (and they're not meant to be taken seriously), but normals still teach you about it anyways. People say normals don't teach you anything, but chances are, you make the same mistakes both in ranked and in normals, because the only difference between them is that in ranked you get or lose LP depending on the outcome of the game, and normals don't lose you anything. It's the same game. So analyzing normals can help you. It's better to analyze what you're doing during the game though.

The issue with how the Renekton played was that he just mindlessly shoved into the Nasus. He's not denying him any CS, if anything, he's just giving the Nasus the free opportunity to farm after each shove. Had he shoved and froze, it would've been an entirely different story, being able to freeze the wave and then run Nasus down or focus on repeatedly burst trading and setup ganks

Not really, gold players make mistakes, if you can punish those mistakes then you will climb above gold. Same goes for every rank, it's just a matter of consistency in terms of punishing mistakes and knowing what to do in a scenario. Edit: that's the reason we watch things like this anyways, to better understand how to utilise an opportunity regardless of your rank

I love your videos. However, this one is simply showing how a challenge player can beat down a gold player when behind and then snowball off their bad 1v1 fighting. It shows how skill can overcome gold advantage but when skill level is equal I don't think this concept translates. Put Hector against some challenger players and lets see how he does.

jekster I think the point is that he’s challenger because of the skills they are teaching, if you implement this skill you’re one step closer to challenger than you were before. You may be evenly skilled but if you Watched and learned from this vid and your opponent didn’t you have advantage. Also the point of putting him in gold is to show how to abuse low elo mistakes, it’s still applicable in challenger but they will make less mistakes and the video wouldn’t be as educational

I get where you're coming from though and I'll be more tolerant than 90 of the people in the comment section lol. There's prolly that part of you that realizes there is so much more that goes into what he did like mana management, wave control, item builds (less on that one), and champ specific matchups which half of those they glossed over in this video which is probably why you commented what you did because some bronze, gold, plat player isn't gonna know how to do it or what exactly to do in each situation. I definitely agree it's frustrating sometimes watching these and watching the renekton not freeze on him so the enemy jungle basically gets a free kill, etc. The problem is if you don't know how to do any of those it's really on you and if you don't put the time into learning and seriously practicing thats what shows a bronzey from a challenger. Seeing it that way your comment becomes something like "Ah yes someone who tries harder than me and worked more to understand and get better at the game beats someone who didnt try nearly as hard."

I love you guys but I really don't agree with the "my opponent sucks" mentality. I'm in platinum and most players understand how to bully you out of lane (if they're ahead) and make it extremely difficult for you to catch up. Perhaps I'm missing something, but what I got out of this video is "your opponent always sucks so you can just rely on them making terrible decisions that allow you back into the game." If you're Challenger, sure, but if you're only slightly better than your opponent, their lead often negates the elo gap.

But the only way to overcome a match about same elo players is on the mistakes, when u are behind and your enemy is 3/0 , believe me or not, they are more like to do risk plays and mistakes because of the mindset "already won lane" and that's when u start trading kills and them killing him :). Plat players are more likely to do this because every plat player things they are gods at the game and its his team fault for his 10 streak losing games. After their second kill they will show his true colors and why they lose more than win despite the early advantage

because this is the wrong mentality. If you are in plat and playing like a plat, against plat players, you will just stay in plat, where you belong. If you want to get out of plat, then u need to get better at the game and consistently play like a diamond player, thus making you the better player in the lane and the difference maker in the game. The idea is to play to improve, learn matchups and correct item order/skill order so that you'll be better than your opponent every time

I think one of the main problems with low elo ranked and queues is losing mental really early into the game. Clear example of it in that one vs Renek where Kai'Sa and Senna were just fighting. Forcing fights inside out and not fighting the opponents instead makes people play horribly because they slack and blame teammates.

The main thing to take away from this is it's ok to not just rush your biggest item. You can easily adapt to your lane by building efficient epic items that shut down your opponent. Don't delay by a ton, but the small items matter tremendously

I have afk or trol literaly every 2 or 3 games and they are ALWAYS in MY team what the fuck? i once had 4 adc in my team, the real one played on his role went afk, the top lane adc did 0/10 in 5 minutes, the support one was stealing my farm from jungle and the mid one was trying hard but did 1/5/0 and lost all turrets. Then me from 3/0 went 3/3 in two minutes because whole enemy team was hunting me in my jungle. The worst part is my team didnt want to surrender so i had to suffer this for 30 minutes then lost 10 point (awesome +5 for afk in team) xD

To all watching, this is very important. This only works if you're either a bruiser or a tank. (source: my 1M mastery each with Tahm and Yorick). Tanks have items which are generally cheaper thus they can have less gold and still impact the game. An example is if I'm Yorick playing against let's say Irelia. Even if I'm 40 cs behind, I can still win mid game, why? Irelia's spike is with Trinity force which is 3700g. Yorick can adjust his item to a Frozen Gauntlet which is 2800g instead of Triforce. That means, a deficit of 900g or 45cs (900g/20g per cs average=45). Yes, I won't be able to 1v1 a triforce irelia BUT I can act as a tank in teamfight in which the armor the gauntlet gives counters the disadvantage of not being triforce yorick. Combine that with other tank+bruiser items, then I can generally have lower cs but yet still impact the game. This challenge is not to be compared if you're playing a non-tank carry. If you're playing vayne top and you didn't cs for 5 minutes, you're pretty much useless until end game.

difference is in challenger if you let your opponent get 1 cs ahead of you then you already lost. If your challenger opponent gets first blood on you, you might as well FF. There is almost no comebacks in challenger. Once your opponent is ahead they will just continue to tighten the nose around your neck.

The second they said Nasus I wasn't interested. You can make nasus go 0/10 in the first 15, If his team can let him farm for 5-10 mins he'll have enough to push and win solo. That's with low Elo and not smurfing. Anyone with skill playing him can comeback everytime.
