Great job Taylor, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Too bad your Mom had to deal with sea sickness. A mother's love is very strong for her to stay onboard with land so close and being sick as a dog. I watched my mom literally turn green on a deep sea fishing trip, it was the worst she had ever felt in her life.

You can often minimize the beam roll just by putting up the mainsail reefed or full. Just need a preventer line to stop the boom lashing back and forth.

Today is 4yrs since my father passed away, on the day he passed our last conversation was of how much he cherished the memories of the time he joined in on one of my trips north from Florida to New Jersey. Now thoughts of that trip keeps the memories of him alive and cherished for me. ❤️💔😔☺️🌊⛵️

@@ThePursuitofHappiness1988, at the moment she's being always seen on others people's boat and she's not undertaking any project under her name nor on her boat, i think that for her to acquire the necessary tools for that she needs to get sponsors and to get sponsors she needs to show her capacity to face the seas in all conditions and to find solutions when in dire straits and all this happening in beautiful surroundings, once this is establish then she will get the respect and attention of serious promoters and sponsors, others have followed this path before and didn't fail.

... Well done transiting the ICW ... w/o going aground or touching bottom ... that is not easy to do, as most people hit bottom somewhere, sometime ... I would fix or replace that bimini top, ASAP ... it doesn't have much more life left in it ... flap, flap, flap ... ( ditch the "black" color and pick something "cooler" for the tropics ...) and add side curtains too as it will increase your effective living space on-board ... and I would add solar panels on top ... as they are out of the way there and help keep the cockpit cool too, as they turn the sun's energy into electrical power ...
