Covid has seen a huge boom in people buying and building campers and motorhomes. It’s left the existing campsites completely rammed for June, July and August. Eventually capacity will increase but for the moment it means people are relying on wild camping and whatever facilities they can find.

Yeah we have really noticed that when trying to book campsites anywhere, they are always full! We do prefer to wild camp anyway 😊

Whilst up on the north coast park up at White Park Bay and walk along the coast to Ballintoy harbour where GoT was filmed. There’s a nice wee cafe at the harbour but cash only. Mussenden temple is lovely then a short distance away ism Benone Strand at Downhill for beautiful sunsets, if you get the weather 😁 Great to see you guys in Northern Ireland and enjoy your stay. There’s also the Caves in Fermanagh and over in County Down explore the Mourne mountains. So much to see!

This is another great episode and I've not even watched it all yet, lol. Your video just keep getting better. The editing, the recording and the usefulness too! I grew up in northern Ireland but left for Glasgow when I was 20. That's now 21 years ago. I love where I live but it's always good to get a look at northern 8rwland. I go back for visit and wee holidays. Especially to Be one beach at Downhill. You should stop off there too! ✅ It's only 10 mins from the ferry to Donegal. Again another great place to explore more of. 🫣 What am I saying you guys are well versed in all this now. Lol. Anyway keep posting your great vids they are very inspiring. Wild swimming is the best! 😉❤️

Hope you make it down to Killarney and Kerry. 10 years ago I visited The Great Blasket and the Skelligs. They are magiical places .....if the sea is calm enough to get to them!!

Mppt is an upgrade, but its efficiency gets better when the voltage of the panels is higher, while your panels are low voltage panels. It still is a decent upgrade however and for sure will benefit your charging. Pwm was a great charger..back in 2000, not in 2021.. But i highly recommend getting rid of the isolation breaker. Those are know to be problematic and could easily cause the issues you have. Those black ones with red levers, also the ones with partially transparant… replace with a decent fuse. They are not uncommon to have a significant voltage drop. Solar panels won’t charge properly, inverters will random shutdown due to low voltage. They might work (partially) when new but will cause issues, its just a matter of when

Check out The meadow campsite down Glandore in Westcork, drombeg stone circle near it,nice quiet campsite, great swimming spots, Lough Hyne near it,great trek up there, with superb views. Sherkin Iskand nice place to see,or cap clear, Dunworley beach is so beautiful. Crosshaven a lovely place, lovely beaches locally and cliff walks to check out. Cobh a place can park up for €10, with facilites.People also park up at Garretstown( there us a campsite called Garretstown house) or Owenahinchia too.

@@highlands2hammocks no worries at all,saw lastnight Park up at Dunworley beachand red strand. Just back from a few days camping. Found a island called Heir Island,it was amazing,the beach was like something from spain. Enjoy what you get to see guys.

I camped around the Wild Atlantic way and back round to Belfast via Dublin in 2016 and loved it, I have been dying to take the van over and do it in a bit more comfort. Galway was my favourite particularly the outdoor diving at Salthill

Looking forward to seeing your travels. You are currently in Northern Ireland (not Ireland) and are on the Causeway Coast. Within Northern Ireland, I would explore Mussenden Temple, the eel farms of Lough Neagh, maybe go wild swimming, surfing, canoeing or paddle boarding along the north coast - there are lots of groups you could join. You could also walk the Walls of Derry. Rathlin Island is worth a day visit (by passenger ferry) although I think the Puffins may have left by now. There is also a lot to explore in Co Fermanagh around the lakes. Once you cross into Co Donegal and Co Sligo, then you are in Ireland - and it is spectacular too. Good luck!

I'm a bit confused. N.I. currency is pounds sterling and the 1st aire you bought the ticket for the signage stated £0.50 per 60 mins your ticket amounted to £12 but you said it cost 12 Euros? Euros are used in Eire.
