We know next to nothing about this tiny island country but we are excited, ready to learn, meet new friends and explore Taiwan.

In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.

@@jasonchou7289 unfortunately, I think driving in TW is quite scary. Got to look out for the motorcycles...lots of them, and drivers who don't follow rules of the road. Other than that, everything is good. Food is good too

I'ma tell taiwan has lot to offer. At our first visit there i didn't really expect something that much but after our trip i didn't realize that i fell inlove with taiwan. I really want to go back someday and explore more ❤❤

Taiwan is a great place, (studied there at the MTC, 1990-1993), did the Formosa Hobie Challenge in 1992 around 4 regions/ and took my family back in 2010 for a three week visit, again in 2014 and just my wife and I in 2018 for an around Island trip. I would go just for food and night markets and small alley restaurants, wonderful people and wonderful places to visit. August of 2018, on a 95F day, we found the Japanese style private rooms for the Suao Cold Springs, and just cooled off. (we will save Hot springs for a cold time of year visit). Taiwan has some great hiking areas, and many mountain areas too. have fun!

Welcome to Taiwan. I’m so pleasantly surprised you guys landed in Taiwan. I’m a long-term subscriber to your channel and have been following your journey for over 2 years now. I almost did leave you guys a comment to come visit Taiwan when your journey departed from S. Korea to Japan. And especially when shipping GrizzleyNBear to Australia got cancelled. Arthur Chen is well known and well respected in Taiwan’s 4x4 community. He’s also well connected to our mass media and I hope to see you both on televised TV show. I don’t personally own a Defender, nor do I own a real 4x4 truck and my having lived in Canada for 11 years has granted me some friend who are into camping in the wilderness and mini-overlanding trip. I live in Taipei and would gladly host you guys for a couple of days if you do plan to do some outdoor rock climbing. I also hike several high- altitude peaks and would happily arrange a trip or two with you both. Cheers and enjoy what Taiwan has to offer. Welcome to the land of hospitality!

Don't judge too early. Yes, this gentleman is nice and I am sure mostly are; however, they can never be compared to Japan as a whole. Japanese are the best, based on my own personal opinion dealing with both since 1982! Yes, I have friends from both countries.

Most people to Taiwan where is north,but actually east of Taiwan like Hualien is also a good place to go, it's Taiwan's countryside,but it doesn't so polluted by the air,if someday you go to the Taiwan, don't forget to Taiwan's countryside except city.
