We booked ours a couple of weeks in advance but you can just book when you’re in the ATACAMA desert // in Bolivia going the other way. There’s lots of companies that offer the tours!

It’s safe but very uneven you’d need a 4x4

@@livandlew thank u. Im seeing in ur video that the roads looks good and easy to drive. But still asking because of course the whole video didnt cover the whole roads but the beauty of the country. Will watch more of ur videos!!!

@ yes is definitely drivable on your own. Not sure on the rules of doing so or whether it had to be a tour!

how did you go from uyuni to la paz? i’ve heard bad things about the busses especially in rainy season :/

We got an overnight bus and it was great but it wasn’t the rainy season
