I totally agree with Your way of parenting, that is the best most effective way to make children behave properly even as both parents and kids avoid negative experiences. Yes, i have yelled a couple of times, it doesn’t work at all, just makes things worse. But if I try to talk to him like an adult, he goes quiet and starts understanding why I don’t want him to do something. i wonder if the older generation didn’t know about this trick because they didn’t try it

@@RuchiinChina As for the older generations, most people are not themselves that thoughtful, they simply do not have the logical clarity themselves. Also, often they do not have the patience nor the communications skills , forget the adaptation one has to do for communicating with kids (who tend to listen but they do not always give you any response or feedback whether your talks are working in influencing them or not. (But they do listen, and it does work, and you do get the feedback over time in how they behave and speak) . And our parents did not have the mental aptitude to do things with just logic and love. Another reason why this way of Love n Logic is better is that if works for whole life not just one time. But the punishment method has to be kept up again and again and needs much more effort over time for the parent. ➡Well come to think of i, all of humanities problems can be solved best with LOVE AND LOGIC, and we would never have another war or the dirty global political games either if we all used just love and logic to solve all our problems. ℹTo that end , if we were to all just bring up our kids they way your are doing, such kids will grow up to be the kind of adults more inclined to using Love and Logic to solve problems in life, and we will surely have a better world. Sorry for the long post. ❤👍🏻🙏🏻
