This module by techiesms is really nice for multiple projects now no one will face issues regarding gsm based projects, but as far as I think we can call this a development sheild as it doesn't have inbuilt mcu :)

Nice board. I'd have considered the inclusion of a 3.5mm TRS connector for connecting an earphone (with automatic switchover between internal mic/ speaker to the earphone if an earphone is detected).

I'm presently using an esp32-s3 for streaming internet radio (HLS AAC stream). The main issue with esp32 is the network throughput is not that great. I guess esp32 based Router will suffer from this. And it doesn't support 5GHz bands.
